I wouldn't use anything like that! Only me is allowed anywhere near my bank accounts! Not a sat shop nor Paypal.
Just reading through this thread from start to finish & spotted this - for ordering from European websites within the Euro zone it might
just be easy to get a Euro prepay card.
They are widely available from travel agents you just stick a set amount on them (say £100) its converted to the Euro amount then you just use them like a normal debit card. When you run out of prepay you just reload them. If a crook gets your details the very worse that can happen is that they empty the prepayment amount. Its not linked to your bank accounts in any way so you are safe.
You can get them in several currencies - Euro, Canadian dollars, USA dollars etc. The only ever problem Ive had with them was on Norwegian airlines when paying for a coffee & a muffin - the card came up as invalid type for some reason, and as they werent taking cash I had to switch over to my normal UK debit card.
