@Milamber

Yes indeed. Pesky Robots.

But it's the Crawlers you really need to watch out for.

Not your fault at all Trust1 , totally mine. I had a bad day and was having a bit of a meltdown moment. No excuse, should not have made the post.
I apologise to all on this thread, all members and guests viewing it and all 72 robots on line at the time.
As a regular member of the forum I should know better, sorry.
Missed your excuses answering one of youre postings .
Its OK , no hard feelings .

The lnb changer comes with a new main lower support , the original support can't be used .
Does Wim Ltd have a diagram / design for the new lower support arm?
Does seem a shame though, the original could support a baby elephant!

The new type is made of boxed aluminium 100 x 18 mm .
That baby elephant was made on that beam :-biglaugh

CJ , You missed the first question about the FOUR holes where the mount is bolted to the dish .
And the last question (for the day) the distance from the real bottum edge (not from the round feedarm) to line between the sidearm holes .View attachment 92601
@Trust1

A to B = 56.5cm
A to C = 81.7cm
D = 35cm
E = 30cm

This is all done with a normal tape measure and some string for reference so those with fancy laser pointers are welcome to correct me.

how can I confirm the offset angle? I do not have anything other than a tape measure, good eye, and slightly used brain!
!
Point youre dish to 0.8º THOR , Dishpointer tells : elevation for Alicante 45.6º , check the angle of the frontline of your dish , if 22.6º is correct , it must show 23.0º
So subtract the frontline angle from that 45.6 and you find the real offset angle

I would, if I could, but I can´t. The Famaval 1.8 and the house are in the way! Also, I have no inclinometer.

CJ, have you checked the dimensions of A to B, B to C etc in light of the difference between my and Feedsat's findings?

Both your ways of maeasuring give me doubt .
The tapeline from Feedsat can be bended into the the dish , showing a higher pointed spot .
Milander shows a spot on a pipe , x mm before the frontline of the dish , showing a (little bit) lower pointed spot .
Dont know how Feedsat attached the laser pointer in the lnb holder , but not realy well clamped can lead to mistake .
To read the spot on the frontline of the dish , i use a 2 mtr long square boxed alu with a small cardboard glued to the backside .
I have a laserpointer in a special made holder exactly fitting in the lnb clamp .
The pointer can turn in that holder by a ballbearing , turning it shows some mis alignment , but the middle of that alignment is the centre .
The laser transmitter can also set angled to follow the complete edge of the dish

Just for the record, it was the only long enough straight edge I had available. When taking the measurements I used a tape measure from the centre of lnb holder through the centre of the laser beam at emission to the back of the pole ensuring the tape passed at the point of the laser dot.
I may be a trained monkey, but I am a fully qualified trained monkey, with an " O " level in technical drawing and a " HNC " in telecoms, and sometimes you have to improvise! ( You may also have noticed the bottom edge of the pole was a couple of mm off the dish face to allow for the curvature if the dish below.)
Also wish to add all measurements were taken well before " beer o´clock " and although I joked elsewhere on the forum, I don´t do Spanish breakfast, just three mugs of decent strong tea and a couple of cigs! ( Maybe one day Yorkshire will make me a honorary son )
