cheers tivu - ive managed to put dish on wall conect computer router and tm9001s all together i downloaded the dcc the only problem is i have tried everything but it will not let me log into telenet - ive tried everything i have read up on -even i know i shouldnt have dissabled the windows fire wall - i think i might have to find another way to ftp lol im even offering to let someone remote desktop with me and see if they can sort it - this is more frustrating than the wife lol - regards dave

Hello Satelliters. There I was, mindlessly inputting gigaflops of useless internet data when I stumbled across this site. Being a bit of a satellite boff, it makes a refreshing change to find fellow enthusiasts.
I currently use a Humax VA FOX to view/listen to sat broadcasts. I've had it years and am seriously considering upgrading. Especially after reading a few of these threads about multisat setups.
I work at a company called EADS Astrium and today the first panel arrived for the new fleet of SES Astra satellites. Therefore I am very much looking forward to seeing them in action..! Mobile 3DHDTV.
So here's to the many blogs, posts and threads.

Sorry, didn't realise there was an Introductions section but better late than never as the saying goes.

Am from the UK and never really bothered with the Sat scene so I'm doing a lot of reading and be prepared for what may sound like really stupid questions

Already have a DM800HD which I've had for around a month but I've not got round to buying and installing a dish yet, mainly as I'm umming and ahhing about what to get.

Work in the boring IT industry, which really is boring!
