Ah, I see.He means there is no DRM or ProtCaster loaded onto the units. The license tab is empty with respect to DRM/ProtCaster.
Whatever they were used for by the broadcaster, it did not involve the use of a DRM.
All you have to do is to load the configuration file that the units were shipped with and it will tell you the configuration the unit was used for.
Personally, I would have "blacked out" the serial number in the picture you uploaded that shows it, your choice though.
Ah, I see.
never thought to black out the serial number.
any idea how to sort that out?
thats why they are cheap

yeah, once all the feeds started to disappear years ago i just left the trees to take over. starting to effect 16e when the wind blows now so gotta do something about it regardless of NSTo get anywhere with these NS3000 units you need line of sight to 7E and 10E plus some type of device that has an ASI input to accept the ASI output from the NS3000.
I suppose you could go TSoIP rather than ASI but that would depend on the hardware configuration.
You must setup your RX8200 to get the signal from ASI instead of satellite.Another problem that I need help with.
I have now connected the ns 3000 to an rx8200 with an sdi cable.
connected to tx asi A on ns3000 and set input on rx 8200 to asi.
I have freq 11221 on 7 East locked, but rx 8200 says unlocked.
Am I set up correctly ?
