Best time for feeds is around 5.30pm to 6.30pm when the regional ITN links are up.

Checked at 9.45pm, just the two up at the moment - Newsnet & SiS Manchester feed at a football ground. Could be more lively soon for regional news time.

Thanks all, the football feed would be Accrington Stanely v Yeovil. I was expecting some more SIS feeds (Rochdale v Oldham and Wigan v Oxford) but these must be transmitted by another method. There's no way Rochdale has fibre installed, so I can only guess its done via 4G. I'll have to visit to one of these grounds and find out for myself. Thanks again :Y

Unusual for football feeds to be in Ka on 19E they are mostly news links. Possibly was on another bird in Ku..

SIS are known to be using LiveU for some outside broadcasts.

I don't think it was an actual feed of the match itself, it looked like the camera was outside the ground and was peeking through a gap in the stands and possibly waiting to do some crowd reactions etc as they left the ground .... i had to go out straight after i posted so don't know what the actual reason for the feed was :)

OMG x 1 million, I was thinking around the 500 mark but still very tempting I must say hmm. For that price I would expect a dual Ku and Ka band !

Yes - a very nice bit of professional kit but if you are only interested in seeing FTA adhoc video/audio feeds on a basic domestic hobbyist level on 18GHz at the moment then it's overkill. For more dedicated hobbyists that are into more sophisticated video / data signal collection & monitoring then it's a more useful device that will use both available bands of the SMW device. Saying all that- I'd still have one if the price was about 2/3rds less :D

Not at this time- unless that particular ad is on a different page then the item is not available. Same applies with the Inverto Ka/Ku that they once sold. All gone . Look for the traffic light style stock level indicator in the ad, they are showing Red-ie: no stock. :(
