It will only be a single polarity LNB, that's to say you would have to physically turn the LNB itself in its holder to get true horizontal. The LNB will not accept voltage polarity switching. If you have it set for it up for vertical, just scan vertical polarity rather the both.
Gotcha that makes sense, Ill try peak for vertical then as looks like the ITN stuff is all in that.
Ill wait until some actual OBs pop up, but this chinese LNB seems ok for a cheap way to get your foot in the door for KA Band.
EDIT: Just realised the above scan is H... Doing V gets 12.8db, must remember and stick to that!

Excellent ... is that one of those lnb's complete with cone feed i posted a link to the other week or so for about £160 'ish.
Don't forget to bung a bit of credit card plastic or similar in the feed throat to get circular pol, [might need a bit of experimentation re: size] and point up th 42East for the Turksat Ka channels
Aye it is! £170 including postage, didn't have any import tax, Took a month to get here, though in the sellers defence half of that time as just sat at Heathrow doing nothing, thanks Royal Mail
And thanks for the suggestion will give that a go once I see what else is out there.
The seller I got it from on Aliexpress had a free returns policy too so was a bit of a no brainer to atleast try it.
I think it's pretty good value especially when you get the cone feed as well , granted it's not as cheap as your Ku Universal lnb £6 ebay buy, but ready made 'Off the Shelf' Ka equipment has never been cheap- the feed is getting a bit rare to obtain on it's own now days, they could be picked up for around £35 ish a couple of years ago but not any more.
Just checked Newsnet again on the analyser and it would seem they have turned the wick up for sure due to the weather conditions.
* meant to say also re: tweeking - Ka is more of a bitch than Ku or Cband to find the absolute best performance on any dish, it boils down to millimeter adjustments to hit the money shot
If it's a contactless card, avoid the edges of the card where the tracks for the NFC loop are embeddedDon't forget to bung a bit of credit card plastic or similar in the feed throat to get circular pol
I'll have a look at it - will only be on my 1.2 Gibby though in North Notts.Could someone see what the ITN Newsnet db level is today? I am getting a massive 3db.. whoops.

I'll be back
Here I received the same LNB from China, tuned a 1m antenna to Astra 19.2. But I had to suffer a little, it didn’t work right away, first I put the LNB as you didn’t have a signal, then turned it like in the photo and the signal appeared. My original plan was to stick it on my 1.5m Gibby dish but the signal for Newsnet was 7db so pretty crap, I maybe need to try again and do some LNB adjusting.
Right now its on a 1.8m Raven, the dishes are 100 meters away from my house so I've sadly had to dig out the old coax lines I ran years ago as I've since converted it all to fibre.
It's some standard coax to a joint in a cabinet then WF125 to another cabinet at the house and more standard coax inside, so I know for sure it'll be 1-2db loss on that.
Still, considering its raining today some fiddling has got 12.3db not too bad!
