18558V ...which I did lock at 8db ..
No ..what I was after was the static camera feed inside the newsroom ...(no audio) ...just guys n gals at the computers..
Not seen that for over a week ..

Ok ..locked the newsroom feed cam ..at 18557 V ...
but it is certainly lower sig than usual here ..
..a lousey 6.8 db is all ...and jerky motion when they move..
cest la vie.

Newsnets siggy has been down for a couple of weeks by around 6dB usually around 19-20dB with me

Perhaps the rats have chewed through some cable, and they have repaired it with a chocolate block.

.... could end up being a bit of a head scratcher this and not a possible equipment failure. Newsnet at the mo is 9dB max, like Chris we are usually up at anywhere between 15 - 18 dB as an average on our 1.8 CM dishes. The Nag feed on H is usually around 18 - 19dB with me , down to 15dB now. With so many people reporting signal drops spread out in various locations across the UK perhaps i need not worry too unduly at the moment, but with such a massive drop from the norm it did set the alarm bells ringing

SIS 102 -ANGLIA is up at 18.531v at 8.5dB and that is usually about the right level for me ..... ??????

Unusual behavior on the Newsnet freq . Whilst observing the analyser , where as normally there is a continuous signal present of some description , for the last ten to fifteen minutes or so the frequency has been totally off. ???

Yes, off at present, only the ACM 18561V feed up, normally next to it.

Back, but below lock, less than 6dB. I can't recall it being out of lock with the Hughes, only when the LNB cap is wet, or in heavy rain.

Yes, it's very low Llew. Only 9.8dB here in North Notts on the 1.8. (done a bit of tweeking and recovered some performance. lol.)

All OK with me at 14.2 dB. I find all this very odd....
