this information i found one week ago on german site _telesat-info.de
allready delete,coz the news stores only one week on the server!
thats the best information site on the net,you can translate to english
maybe this package come soon,or already startet i dont know,can imagine that this only for cable operators,because i dont know any receiver for the public that supports 16 qpsk

the sat and scew postion for nilesat is the same,i got confirmed in the meantime.only ab4 is a little bit diffrence +/-10 on the scew controll display!

soon i think osn will leave us and swtich over to the new satellte,hope the use all the same freqency,with a little bit more space between,20mhz how it looks,only freqency diffrence,my smw xline lnb,dont like,and i got first time,the nabour freqency!

I was asking cos the owner of Hellasat is looking desperately for Capacity, that's not exist at this sat , to upload a new package with hd channels , so there is not room for others channels which do not belong to the owner , for the moment .
May be they plan to rent an old sat for extra capacity .

Nilesat 201 is active in this parts of the woods. I am currently receiving 2 frequencies, 11727 H 27500 and 11737 H 27500 streaming the same Islamic religious tv content.
My setup consist of a 1.5 offset dish plus inverto ultra black quad lnb.
Below Snapshot of said frequencies,

Good Afternoon Whkenya,

It is possible to receive Nilesat and Badr 6 and 5 In Nairobi Kenya. For Nilesat 201 you require preferable a dish size measuring between 90 centimeters to 1.2 meter offset.
For Nilesat 101, 102 and Atlantic bird 4, you will require an offset dish measuring 2.4 meter.
For Arabsat that is Badr 6 and Badr 5 i use a 2.4 offset dish plus inverto ultra black quad lnb.
Nilesat 201 will be active soon, so i would advice you to wait for the sat as the Arabsat satellites are limited in choice of channels.
With your 6 foot c band dish you can get Nilesat 201. All you will need for better reception of Nilesat 201 on your dish is a LNB called Fuji extreme High gain lnb sold @ lithuri avenue for about 1G from a shop called spikes. The Lnb is meant for c band dish conversion to ku and will come in handy.

Not yet but the guys at Nilesat heard informed me that the satellite would official commence operation with 4 weeks from the 21st of September. So we should anticipate official transmitting within the coming week if all goes as scheduled.

Nilesat is an easy catch on the dish in my avatar but I'm a good 1000 miles south of you though.

Abu Dhabi Sport annouced that it will continue tranmission on the new frequencies on Nilesat 201 , and will stop the transmission on the old frequencies on Atlantic Bird 4A on the 1st of November , I guess more frequencies will be operated on that date or around it .
