I don't know if its the rain, or that the channels have moved over, as I'm getting nothing at all at 7W now. Anyone with a 1.8 getting anything?

with my irte 1.5 i getting some all mbc and all osn but breaking up lot and with 1.3 gabitini nothing

Ok, Panic over for the time being, stopped raining now, dried off the LNB and getting 7W again now. Maybe premature info on kingofsat.

after reading this,i could not sleep and take some signal shots,with camera,looks all the same,not much difdrence!
nottice,under dvb 2000,my smw lnbs,and seavey change to polarity H is V and via versa,why this only happens with this receiver,and only on this satellites i dont know,so i see no diffrence in the signal,sky now also clear ,dark and quite outside
maybe king of sat makes a first aprl joke with us,also i track the dish postion,with my egis motor,there is absoulte no diffrence,either in elvation,and postion,from the the old bird!(at the moment)
always when i new sat starts,i measure the signal,with dvb 2000,maybe because of that,i grow up with this system

No noticeable difference here on the TP's listed as 201 on KOS. I do have heavy cloud cover though, so will check again if it lifts.

it seems that Nilesat 102 has changed longitude to 6.21 as shown on n2yo.com.

not sure if the 201 bird has gone live cause the signal is strong in my area ( Riyadh ) but was looking for new frequencies other than the existing but find nothing

As far as we know 201 isnt on air yet so theres no chance of anyone in Africa (or elsewhere else for that matter!) sending in reception reports

Just plugged in the spectrum and the trace has changed (compared to last week).

Also, I have spotted transponders that are not listed on Kingofsat or Lyngsat. For example DVB-S 11727 H 27500 3/4. NIT table is marked Nilesat 201.

And, according to the latest tracking data Nilesat 102 is currently at 6.0ºW.

Flysat is now reporting Nilesat 201 as active, the above mentioned frequency 11727H is supposedly from 201. Not tried it myself yet, will do soon.

Well that would seem to confirm my suspicions about tighter beam shaping

However its worth checking regularly as its quite possible the signals will be on & off for a few days.
