My Satellite Setup
1.2m CM dish with elevation jack, Supermount 1224 H-H rotator, Octagon SX88+, DR.HD D15, GT Media Combo, Ku PLL LNB, C Band: Titanium C1W-PLL, Ka Band: XMW R9216AF with FD9000 feedhorn, Inverto Saorsat LNB and Inverto Ka/Ku LNB . Zone 2 dish pointing at 28E with Octagon SF8008.

I have just done a firmware update on my SX88+ from 1.04.50 to the latest 1.06.04 . It sits in a cabinet next to my SF8008 and since doing the update my SF8008 controller controls BOTH receivers. I put version 1.04.50 on a USB stick to try and go back but it wouldn't let me. I surely can't be the first to have this problem. Has anyone else suffered this and what's the cure please.

You should be able to factory reset the 88, then use the stick.

Thanks guys for your advice. My SX88+ has been restored to v 1.05.50 firmware. The problem of my SF8008 rcu controlling my SX88+ has now gone. Deep Joy!

I would be interested if it sported 8GB RAM, 128GB flash (and a preinstalled 512MB M2)!

Then it would be too expensive for anyone to buy it.

2GB ram and 16GB flash without the pre-installed NMVe would have kept the price sensible and still been a nice upgrade.

great keep us informed beacuse new sf8008 Symbol rates from 100 – 80,000 SR
so will be great if it can get radios with low SR under 256

Forget SR lower than 500, it now has Availink, same tuner as OsMio. And it's not even a certainty the images have implemented the E2 changes @ocean4 suggested.

At the moment i have sf8008 twin sat tuner ... and it is not satisfactory at all in some satellites.
Do we have an idea how much is the difference regarding the tuner sensitivity performance in comparison new supreme
or os mio 4k ? thanks

the input tuner (RDA5815) did not change, only the input demodulator (Si vs. AVL) changed - so the sensitivity will be approximately the same

I have both twin tuner and combo 8008 receivers and have not found much of a difference. They are early models however.

that means because i need a sensitive tuner which enigma2 linux model has the best from this point of view?

I have done a research and i do not see any other enigma2 linux receiver to arrive soon.
The only thing is i do not know much for novaler pro 4k tuner what is it and if it is sensitive too?
Do we expect something else to be out in the market during this year? Thanks.
