first make sure you have for example openatv on it then it will work easy to flash to another image thats how i did it take your usb stick and format it in fat32 download octagon-sf8008-v1.05.23-20200622-mmc and copy it to your usb stick dont unpack it just put the rar file on the usb put the usb in the usb 3.0 hub on the right side close the receiver and hold power button until you see updt then wait for the screen to show from there choose usb network multiboot and choose what image you want and download it and wait til the install is done and boot your new image also if u want define choose slot 4 and on slot 2 choose openatv you can delete any image afterwards goodluck

I was keen to compare the blindscan of the SF8008 running this SX88 derived "Define OS" against an actual SX88. It's much slower (it hung for ages on 7E near the end of the H half of the scan whilst the SX88 races on ahead), but pulls in low SR transponders which the SX88 cannot.

The IPTV side looks very much improved over SX88, but that's not something I use. It's a shame for us satellite enthusiasts the same effort isn't being put in to the satellite features in this bianbiang (SX888) & out.elf (SX88) dvb app.

You mean the newer SX88 4K can get lower SR's than the SF8008 ? not lower than 250k though ?

No, my comparison was SF8008 running Define OS versus the old SX88.
I haven't tested Enigma vs Define performance running on the same SF8008 hardware.

4. Abertis fixed.

I'm running V10539 on my SF8008 mini. Not sure what this fix refers to specifically, but Abertis isn't working completely in this version.

The lower bitrate streams work fine (e.g. 11222H, 11347H), but the PIDs that contain a full 20Mbps multiplex (e.g. the three streams on each of 12548V/12631V/12671V) break-up and glitch, like the processor is struggling to buffer the decapsulated TS data quickly enough.

Thanks, a reboot seems to have fixed the issue I was having in the end, and they all play nicely without glitching now.
