For me who uses blind scan for feeds, it works just fine, easy to delete dead transponders, simple menu, I don't need anything fancy.

As suspected with C band it works fine.
Only frequencies below SR 1600 must be entered by hand.
Here is an example on 4.9 east
currently the LNB setting is not programmed for KA band.
it should come with a new update

5000 channels limit isnt very many these days - there are over 1400 tv channels just on Hotbird if you scan everything in looking for new channels appearing.

Don't hope, he finds the frequency well, but can not find the programs.
Anyway the data of the programs are not conform, and are not made for the public
Some receiver can receive them (DR.HD and some openbox , but it is not the majority.)
With Enigma2 and plugins it works

Lowest transponder: 11657 V 27500 2/3
so weak that 20 minutes later he was gone.
The SX8 HD One has the same difficulties as the TBS6983 card (bad picture), it happens to find this frequency in Blindscan.

The DD sound on French multistreams works perfectly.
That's what settings it works with.

Seems to be a difference in build times for the sw, albeit only 2 mins but that is strange. I updated the box from the web site as soon as I got it with what you see above.
