I'd assume so ..... my Edision Primo drives a DiSEqC motor quite happily ........
Morning 'Lazarus' :Y
¿with your motor are you using USALS or DiSEqC 1.2?
Thanks and be safe. :Y

USALS.

And there's also a DiSEqC switch involved.

Thanks once again Stephan94 for continuing to give us firmware updates.
Stephan94

Lots of nice new changes such as Resolution in the info bar and the addition of Picons. However I see they have given us control of Brightness, Contrast and Saturation. Unfortunately, both Brightness and Contrast change the contrast. ie the Brightness control is altering the contrast. Perhaps this is still being worked on and will come right later.

Please feel free to feed my comments back to Octagon.

Thanks SimonE

In this field everything is a question of personal sensitivity.
For my part I see a difference when I change the brightness or the contrast; the results are different.
For one person it's good, for another person it's bad.
alles 50 -vert.jpgIt's very difficult to judge.

Thanks for taking a look, Stephan. I know different broadcasters have different standards but the way I've always got round the problem here is by turning the brightness up on my TV but that makes all other inputs to the TV wrong. When the brightness is set correctly you will be able to see detail in the girls dark hair and the man's jacket without the whites burning out.

Check to see if your TV has an auto contrast option. It's not for TV setting purists but it will mean that the TV can adapt the picture from scene to scene. I have it switched on myself.

In the last SW (10462) it is written that now channel picons for Astra and Turksat can be seen.
One must only activate in menu / OSD setting / channel logo.
In fact, for the people who like something, it works.
But you have to make a channel search on all transponders of the Satellite beforehand, if you do not do it the picons will not appear, only then you will see them.

Be careful ,
I just learned that there is room only for 2000 Picons in the memory of the SX88.
so it can go very quickly to fill the memory.
For fun I created the folder for Eutelsat 16A Picons,
it works.

The picon are cool, but better not to put as crazy, I only have the channels that I use most, on the PC about 200mb to search, apart from the ones I think new.
Los picon estan chulos, pero mejor no poner como locos, solo tengo los canales que mas uso, en el PC unos 200mb para buscar, aparte de los que creo nuevos.

The latest update includes support for Abertis TDT (30.0w) exciting times, has anyone had a chance to test it yet? I may have a go tomorrow.

I have installed the latest software and scanned 30w but the scan gets stuck at 35 tv channels and goes funny presumably because its trying to scan Abertis. I have been told theres an additional key file you need to run but even with that it still doesn't work.
