Posted the following in the wrong place yesterday (and still having the same issues!):
I seem to have a funny recording-relation issue with fundamental differences between the SX88 (in our "office" ) and the SX88+ (in the lounge) and using the same FAT32-formatted 1TB HDD USB drive. (I used MiniTool Partition Wizard Free to format the whole drive as FAT32)
The SX88 will record to the HDD and replay from it, and when I look at the PVR option in the Menus, I see 6 separate lines:
- Record the browser
- Home network/USB
- Timers list
- Storage
- PVR Settings
- Network shares settings
OTOH, the SX88+ won't record, and all I see in the PVR option are:
- Home network/USB
- Storage
- Network shares settings
So, three areas of settings are completely missing on the 88+, and that caused, amongst other things, a specific issue because, everytime I tried to set a recording, I got a message saying that that conflicted with an existing Timer setting - and yet I can't find the Timer List on this box to delete the conflicting one(s)!
Anyway, the issues with the 88+ are very repeatable, and both Rx have their latest f/w loaded (I reloaded the 88+ f/w yesterday afternoon), and now I don't know what to try next - does anyone have any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?
