"Interestingly", yesterday, 1.04.74 was on the Octagon site page for the SX88 (but not the SX88+) and I updated the SX88 (the SX88+ has not arrived yet) to that with an automatic download & install and it seems to be changing sats OK under USALS across the arc.

However, today, 1.04.074 has disappeared, and the latest avaiilable version shown is as 1.04.66 and so not even 1.04.73 (and nothing for the SX88+) - so it looks like the whole of the "1.04.7X" generation has been "canned" until "something" is fixed (I don't know what that is, but would very interested to find out!).

No such problems with the Edision!

I'm using 1.04.74 on my SX88+ with no problem on the DISecQ and motor. But I had to download the firmware from a third party download site.
I however, can't configure auto-roll in the softcam. Not sure if its the firmware or my own configurations. The rest work perfectly!

FWIW, I can now answer the questions I raised in a couple of posts above:
#290 - the SX88+ (and thus presumably the SX88) does transmit both DiSEqC 1.1 and USALS commands at the "same time"(consecutively, I presume) if both settings are enabled.
#295 - the combo of the Spaun relay and the RF-remotely controlled 12V supply for it works fine. The relay switches between the steerable TD88 and the fixed dishes with LNBs connected to the DiSEqC 1.1 10-1 Opticum switch down the garden, and thus I can connect to (say 13E) via either route simply by clicking the RF remote control switch button, with no need to go into the SX88+ menus to make any changes - "Simples" :)
PS: the RF remote is stuck to the underside of the SX88+ remote with d/s tape, and it has a sliding cover over the button to prevent accidental changes from the switched LNBs to the steerable dish.

FWIW (which is not a lot!), just been trying to sort out another fixed dish on 52-53E (with no great success so far), and then, to check whether 53E (Express AM^) was still actually receivable here ATM, I ran some tests from the indoor "office" with the TD110 and - in order - the TM5402M3, SX88 (not the "+") and the Free Sat 7HD (the dirt cheap "fag packet"!) on 53E and a couple more weak sats.

The results were somewhat surprising, especially after the signals began to drop from around 17.00 GMT: the FreeSat managed to get a half-viewable picture and the TM was noticeably worse - but the SX88 couldn't get a signal on any of the main receivable 53E transponder 12594V 2700; not a bloody thing even at the slightly earlier time when the TM was showing a pixellating but viewable image on most channels!
