Are they re-broadcating Al Jazeera Sports transmission. If not why are they punishing them. Also they refer to numerous violations, how many are at it. I read they have chopped AJS internet subscriptions as well.

Bizarre that it is only the 3pms on Saturday, and not any other days when there are more than one PL match being played...look at this coming Wednesday when all pl games are on JSC (well so far!) .is it really all down to protecting lower leagues...?

JSC channels 6-10 on Badr 26 east changed their VPIDs today.
Hence a flurry of calls about "we have lost channels.", and the PL / JSC have acted and cut everyone off!
And then relive when a rescan brought the channels back in again.

" Dear Client,
Due to the decision from the operator to change all equipments in 2014, any Al Jazeera Sport subscription registered or renewed after the 1st of december 2013 will be valid for a maximum period of 3 months for basic package and 4 months for the Full sport package.
Before we do register your order, you are kindly requested to confirm if you want to go ahead, according to the new conditions, or would like to cancel and get refund. "
Looks like the PL have been leaning on JSC vary hard

I wonder how much more bulling from PL all those pay tv platforms will tolerate, and for how long. They (Al Jazeera) are paying astronomical amount of money, they are forced to abandon premium satellite neighbourhoods like Hotbird, they are changing their decoders, what else? Does it (PL) worth it? I seriously doubt it...

The final victim is the customer, so it's up to him to decide whether he will continue to support with his money those practices and whichever condones them. It's just football after all, I'm pretty sure most people can live without it...

It isn't just Premier League leakage, it's also the problems with rampant commercial card sharing. Over the next few years, lots of restrictive measures will be explored by most of the providers.

This was always the plan, even before the current event with PL. It's about the rights to the World Cup.

Had a report back from our dealer in Qatar saying that he has clients in Nigeria that couldn't get on new freq but could get it before.
Maybe is on another beam or they put the parameters in wrong!!! Lol

Looking at kingofsat its FTA at this tp can anyone lock this in the uk please not a sniff for me I will try a tweak.

JSC +6 to +10 are still working on 11.449 H at the moment. Easy to get with 1.2m dish in UK.

New transponder is 11.958 H on Nilesat 201 - that needs a much larger dish in the UK.

I guess the +6 to +10 channels will stop on 11.449 H sometime in the future.

AJS are advertising that big changes will take place from 1st January. Probably the card/box match as predicted. Only official satellite boxes can be used.
