I managed to get myself a VPN in arabic (Jordan) I was then able to get through the security blocker, and attempt to marry my viewing card with my Humax 1020 receiver. The registration was easy, but I got the following when I tried to type in my satellite box serial number. The card is only 18 months old.
Sorry! your current Smartcard version is not compatible with this registration.

1. A Premium AJS card .
2. AJS receiver : Humax ir 3000 HD or Humax HD Free .

It appears that not only do you have the latest smartcard, you are restricted by which receiver you can use!!!!
For Sale : 1 Humax IR1020 receiver. I thought I would get in early :mad::mad:
Can I register my receiver? / Are my receiver and smart card authorized for registration?
Registration is allowed only for certain receivers & cards models.
Authorized receivers are Humax models HD-Free and IR-3000-HD.
Authorized beIN SPORTS cards are Irdeto V6 premium smart cards (& more recent cards) only.

just read this on another forum,
from 31st January a load of hd channels will go into "secure mode" and you will need to register your reciever via website. The channels that you will lose if you dont register your receiver are.. bein HD 6 bein HD 7 bein HD 8 bein HD 9 bein HD 12 bein HD 13 bein HD 14 bein HD 15

Just realized that HD6-15 except HD11 are going off on 1st feb but their corresponding SD channels will remain on air without a registered receiver. If it's the case then i doubt they'll get the 3pm kick offs back since most guys are getting the sd channels very clearly in europe.

I think it will remain that way for the rest of the EPL season. Next season they will compulsory pair the box and card. But only on selective satellite boxes. Humax HD-FREE & Humax 3000.
Gradually starting the process at the moment.

they are saying now (on a scrolling message on screen) that as of March 1st 6HD 7HD 8HD 9HD 10HD 11HD 12HD 13HD 14HD 15HD will become secure

Where as originally it was a small selection of channels. now it is most of them

There was another scrolling message this morning saying that as of March 1st 11 SD EN and 12 SD EN will be finishing

According to the explanation by Richard Keys before todays match, you can register your card in a "Human Free HD" receiver... :-)

The thing is, if you need a new BeIN card, will the website allow you to register that new card to a receiver already registered to an old card?

my present subs ran out yesterday. Card old style number 41xx xxxx xxx. Bein , once again changing the rules.
"All premium renewals must be made with the official box and recent card" :mad::mad:

€149 box and €79 for new card + 3 months subs, is the best I can do.
