doing a rescan as i peaked the dish on them above channels i found on the first scan.

sorted thatchanged lnb type to 5750/5150

scanned in about 37 channels on H and 70 odd on V on 40.5w,i guess its my 1st attempt a c band stuff.
but not a smell on espn or foxsports,although maybe thats cause i was only mounting it today to see could i get some channels.
probaly has to be tweaked and picked for any hope of espn and foxsports?.or maybe my dish is just not big enough?.

First, LNB should be properly placed and pointed towards the surface of the dish, then the dish should be properly pointed towards the satellite. And finally, yes, the dish could be bigger to attract more satellite signals.
And one more thing.... to get the best performance of the satellite system, the illumination angle of the feed should be equal to the opening angle of the dish.

well my dish has been fine on ku band for the last 2 years so i am happy enough with the way it is,the ku lnb holder that came with the dish slides on to the arm and can be pushed in nearer dish or back out.that lnb holder cannot adjust up or down so it was manufactered for the dish and the 3 arms so where it is sitting is pointing correctly as it comes that way from the factory.

hi guys received the servo r/c for turning the probe and just tryed it here in the house for a test and doing a great job
