:-lol:-lolI wish that people would stop referring to "perforated" dishes as "mesh" dishes. In no way can a perforated dish be described as a mesh. Mesh dishes are in no way satisfactory for Ku (or even Ka) band signals and in main are used for C band. Rant over :mad::mad:

Hi guys i have read through this thread but am still confused :-)

Would it be possible to pick this Irish TP signal up in Belgium?

I have 120cm Dish aligned to 9E allready for some FTA Ku Band channels so from what i understand i need a KA Band LNB, but am unsure about if this TP is strictly only for Irleand

Any help would be great

Thanks

Just seen the 60cm Exeter report. Half tempted to get a KA band LNB and try to get Saorsat at my parents' place in Brixham, Devon with an 80cm dish. It's not that much further south than Exeter and no further East.

Although since the report the FEC has changed from 1/2 to 2/3 hasn't it?

I've never given up on this, my test so far 1.0 orbital dish 44/46% nothing locked in, 1.2 and 1.8 nothing, reading more about the lnb its not designed for off set dishes, yes we know it can be received on a off set dish, to put my mind at rest my last try will be with the prime focus 1.5 ive just bought not hoping for anything but if you don't try you will never know, I will let you know the results:)

Best start a new thread, this one was last checked over six years back.
