You could try using Firefox, or other browser.
Have you cleared your browser, especially cookies?

Have you visited dishpointer.com, entered your postcode, zoomed in on the map, moving the green icon, to where your dish is sited, then selecting 0.8W, from the satellite drop down box? The green line will give you an idea of where 0.8W is.
If you also select the show obstacle, (line of sight) check box, and move the red icon, it will give you a rough idea of how high the obstacle has to be to interfere with your dish.

OT ....

>> "oops we ran into problems" <<

To be fair, i also get this random message every now and then on my Windows 10 Pro machine / 8Gb ram/ SSD/ Opera browser but 99% of the time it loads very fasy straight away.

I use Firefox, with adblocker, and ghostery, and the site loads extremely quickly.
My download is modest, at 37.4 Mbps.
If the problem isn't with your PC, or browser, then perhaps the problem is with your provider, or external.
You could try going into your router admin, and checking if anyone else is using your connection, or safety problems are delaying your browsing.

Going back on topic, I think the best course of action for you to take would be to look for a motorised dish installer that covers your area. Honestly, this will save you a lot of time and hassle, as a good installer will be able to get your setup tip top and working in a number of hours.

Without sounding rude, I think you have an unrealistic expectation when it comes to receiving feeds. Unless you have the time, money and expertise to go big (2 metres+) and the right hardware (preferably a PC tuner rather than a receiver for 4:2:2), any feeds you can pick up with a smaller dish should be seen as a bonus and certainly not an assumption that you will be able to receive them by default. I have a 90cm and only really receive the occasional feeds on 7E/10E when the weather is pristine, but it's no biggie because that's not my main reason for going motorised.

Also, what you said a few pages back about your friend being closer to London and thus the reason for being able to pick up the London Fireworks feed when you couldn't is incorrect. It's not a case of being closer to the location of the feed that will determine how strong you can pick up a signal.

The website is also fine for me and I'm only a 60 meg connection, a lot less than your gigabit one.

Hi Dan!, that friend i was talking about is you btw, lol, you know the issues im having with my dish at the moment, and that i can get some feeds and some channels, like 28.2E, 23.5E but not others, which my new 1.2m CM Dish and Motor, hence why im here asking for help, there isnt any motorised dish installers near me i have already checked, my dish and motor might be miss aligned but its not an easy dish or motor to align correctly own my own (without breaking anything)

Several of us have already pointed out that getting some Feeds of strong birds like 23.5 and 28E is a world away from getting them on 16E, which is a whole different kettle of fish. As in all walks of life you cannot usefully compare apples with pears.

I think you will see the 'Opps' message if you are replying and reply has already been posted since you last refreshed. Probably the issue your having, would make sense with you missing messages too :)

I think that you might be better seeking help from another internet satellite forum where the pages load faster for you?
It seems that no matter what help members have tried to provide for you on this forum it is not to your satisfaction.

As I pointed out earlier, we have been here before with you on the setting up of this motor.
Also, as you have had several topics closed previously by admins for your attitude I hardly think you are in a position to be accusing members of making stupid remarks.

Purplesat will probably travel, have you asked them if they are prepared to travel to your location ?
I expect you will need to pay their travelling expenses and travel time, plus time on site.

I think you are expecting too much if you are hoping a forum member will create a video tutorial on how to setup a Moteck H180 motor.
Have you checked out youtube to see if there is a video tutorial?

For the right wages, most installers will travel.
Purplesat is top class, he knows his stuff and is well worth his fee for people who are unable to setup their own motorised dishes.

Dan you have been advised to start from first principles several times & start again setting the dish up on the broadcast channels on 1W which are nice strong signal in the UK. If you cant be bothered to follow our suggestions & are just ging to et yourself in a right old tizzy then there is no point this thread being left open any longer.

Robbie Strike comes to mind on YouTube, the satellite nerd, American but the principle is exactly the same..

IM FOLLOWING YOUR SUGGESTONS, Yes i checked youtube, no theres no tutorials, yes the weathers shit here in uk (keeps raining) and yes i will start from scratch when the weather improves, all im asking for is patience with me this is quite hard to work out, yes you lot are suggesting things and scopus please post a video showing your motor setup as i cant find the pics you posted last year showing it, if i had detailed VIDEO Instructions that would help me out a lot as written instructions confuse the hell outta me!!

whats that gotta do with anything Analoguesat?? NOTHING!!
