IM FOLLOWING YOUR SUGGESTONS, Yes i checked youtube, no theres no tutorials, yes the weathers shit here in uk (keeps raining) and yes i will start from scratch when the weather improves, all im asking for is patience with me this is quite hard to work out, yes you lot are suggesting things and scopus please post a video showing your motor setup as i cant find the pics you posted last year showing it, if i had detailed VIDEO Instructions that would help me out a lot as written instructions confuse the hell outta me!!

whats that gotta do with anything Analoguesat?? NOTHING!!
I posted pictures earlier..You won't find a video as I never posted one!

i think all that had to be said, has now been said - i dont think any more responses are necessary.

when the weather improves, our friend @danaddison will sort it out im sure - he has had enough advice to fill a garage with.

it wasn't long ago, i was using USALs, with a tinpot dish - now i'm using a CM1.2 like you, and a CM1.8 with 2 jacks, along with an RC2000 - yes i had help along the way thanks to all the incredibly talented people on here @nelson_b @moonbase @John @scopus to name just a few

I did have to work a lot of things out for myself, but theres so much useful info on here, I was able to work things out.

you are a little unfortunate in that not many people have the motor you have, it doesnt have a great reputation, so theres not much advice specific to your Moteck motor.

good luck @danaddison - enjoy the learning curve - its indeed steep, but should be fun.

re your slow issues, are you using an AV or VPN solution on both your endpoints where its slow....ask a friend \ family member to see if they get the same.

i believe this is what my angle should look like (see pic) > https://purplesat.com/web_images/36v_hh_motor.jpg , i have emailed the owner of the website purplesat.com to ask for assistance aswell, hopefully they can also help me with my issues, the long metal bolt (see pic here) > is this how mine should be set? if yes whats this bolt for inclination or what? im confused about that aswell,

please see the manual here> https://www.pulsat.com/files/moteck_h180_install.pdf its confusing me, if anyone can decipher it for me step by step in plain english that be great thanks

so i read the manual as this:

Set Elevation angle (The Scale on the motor bracket is for easy setting) (Long scew A) to 22°
Declination Angle: set it by screw B and the scale on the upper mounting plate (Gold Plate at top)

is this all i need to do??
I doubt Purplesat would travel from Macclesfield to Kings Lynn (must be a round trip of some 200+ miles) to deal with somebody elses kit.

Perhaps sell the dish to fund essentials ?

Ok thats ENOUGH. Im closing this thread. Dan you may come back to report success when you have your dish set up & working properly. And we will all be very pleased for you & will look forward to your future reports

And what does this have to do with me - well the staff here have the sometimes thankless task of trying to keep some sort of order on the forum & stopping members making fools of themselves.
