See Post #44Yes, wood would generate energy for distilling process, but to get substance to be distilled you need to buy some sugar, and from 1kg of sugar you can get roughly 0.5l of fuel. Means that 1l of home-made fuel can cost up to 2 EUR per liter..... easier to buy normal fuel at the gas-station and burn it.
