Yes, the World Cup may have only just finished, but the Premier League is the focus once again, and with that, Satellite.co.uk's own fantasy football league. However, this will be the fifth and final SupaLiga competition (see post 2), so never has there been a more perfect time to join.​

You can join the Fantasy League now by signing up at http://fantasy.premierleague.com/.

To join the satellite.co.uk’s very own fantasy football league, PL SupaLiga, simply register by either clicking on the ‘Sign Up’ option in the log-box or click here - http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/register.mc. Once you've signed up and selected your team, click on 'Leagues' on the left in the Fantasy Menu, then click on the 'Create/Join' tab, then under 'Join a private League' enter the following code and click 'Join League':

Dear members,

After much careful consideration, I have decided that this is to be my last SupaLiga competition, both as league secretary and participating member.

This has come as result of a variety of reasons, principally that I am increasingly finding it difficult to find the time required to deliver the high standard and dedication that overseeing the league demands. To put it bluntly, I would feel that I am doing myself and all of you a dishonour in doing a half-arsed job!

Also, as time has gone by, I no longer hold such an interest in the forum’s ‘raison d'être’ – satellite television, and the reception thereof. It should not be that the only reason that I frequent the board is for the fantasy competitions, especially as there are forums which exist that cater solely for that interest, and which I now feel much more drawn to.

I’d like stress that this has come about through no fault and/or negativity of member(s). I have always enjoyed running these competitions, primary because, ultimately, those playing in them have been very supportive and made the experience highly enjoyable, both on a sporting and social level. For this, I can only thank you

Should anyone like to begin a new league for next season (2011/12, 2011 for Formula 1), I will be happy to assist them in set-up, but I do politely ask that the ‘SupaLiga’ name not be used again.

As a result of this decision, the following will occur:
• Premier League SupaLiga 2010/11 will be the last PLSL season.
• F1 SupaLiga 2010 (current season) will be the last F1SL season.
• UniSat Champions League 2010/11 will be the last UCL season.
• A special cup competition involving all members of PLSL and Den League will take place from Gameweek 20 with seeding determined by performance during GWs 1 to 19, details to follow in the coming weeks.

Once again, I can only thank everyone for joining up and playing these SupaLiga competitions!

Salty, I'm sorry to hear your news. I'd like to be one of the first to thank you for organizing and running all the Fantasty competitions on here. Sadly, I really don't think I have time to devote myself to participating in the next Premier League season. I think I'll find it even more confusing than the F1 game!! For the same reason I couldn't take over the FI league either. I really hope someone else will however, as wherever I finish this season I want to have another try in 2011!! Once again thanks.

Pleased to hear that Salty25 is running this seasons Fantasy SupaLiga again and I'm in as Toontastic (formerly Toondrastic formerly Toontastic).

The PL SupaLiga was my first venture into online fantasy competition, whoever takes over the reigns has a big challenge ahead of them, to maintain Salty25's commitment to the fantasy cause will be a hard act to follow!

Well done Salty25 once again!
