**NOTE - this looks to be a Circular pol, only have a linear feed on this device at the moment.
It's horizontal as far as I can tell but I can't get a lock. It's around 4.5dB SNR when I can get a reading.
There's a big carrier on 13526.00073MHz also horizontal.
Using modified 2dB NF SMW 12.25-12.75 now with 11.75GHz LO, 1.8m

<edit> Hang on a minute, I am confused. This thread is 5A which is 30.9E and we're now talking about 5B at 42E.

@John

Which of the extended Ku LNB's is that from, I might get strapped up for a sniff?
If I recall correctly, one type of the extended Ku LNB's we imported was single probe, the other dual probe, I think the grey ones were dual and the white ones were single but not sure on that?

Extended Ku LNB's available at huge wad !

It be this type MB
There's nothing showing for me on the opposite polarity from the 1.2m Gibby at the moment

No thanks.

I wonder if you're getting a better signal due to my rubbish conversion or beam variations between us.

If you want more confusion, there is a pair of carriers 900Hz apart on 30.9E at approx 13584MHz, one V, the other H.

30.9E_Turk5A_13584V_SA.PNG 30.9E_Turk5A_13584H_SA.PNG 30.9E_Turk5A_13584_spacing_SA.PNG

If you look at them in wider bandwidths, they will appear as one signal, with a dip in level at 45 deg skew offset. If you listen in an audio BW you'll hear the 900Hz tone when set to 45 deg skew offset.

I tried to lock the signal on 13491 H with the Chinese lnb BWEI, L.O. 12.8 GHz(pic).
I can't figure out why the frequencies of 11789 MHz and others are copied.
I would like to know if anyone works with this lnb and with what results on this mux(13491 H).

I think that the BWEI has quite poor image rejection. However, I can't see one that equates to the image of 11789 in the CS scan which is strange, unless an alias product of the TBS card.

strong signal here
It is. It has increased to 7dB here but that's still 3dB lower than @John (1.8:1.2m dish ratio). What is your dish and LNB?

42E is weaker than 30.9E here. I can see more than a dB of transponder noise on 30.9 but none on 42E

Still fairly good strength for me on the 1.2 Gibby at 6.15pm UK - nothing else spotted throughout the day on other polarities .
@satesco , i obtained one of those same 13.75 - 14.50 GHz units here to see what was lurking above the normal 13.4 to 13.65GHz Extended Ku but also found it to be not much use
