TBS 6925 PCi Card with hardware blind scan in DVB-S2 and DVB-S

Just scanned it with my Prof and get identical results as you VS. The Prof uses a CX23883 PCI bridge and STB6100/STV0903BAB tuner/demod.

Of course there is something, but not just now. TBS doesn't recognize it, but TBS can't recognize several other proprietary modulations also. For example the ones for french "tv numeric" on Atlantic Bird 3. What's important here is if there is a non-professional non-super-expensive DVB device that actually demodulates all those transmissions...

Indeed ..this is true Strs ..
I was hoping the TBS could make the fta channels (Digicipher 2) accessible on 58W C-band ..
..which are very few in number ...but I can get a decent signal level..

Alas ...thats one proprietory format thats not even dvbs/s2 ...so no way jose...

...came accross this @ 12730 H

Part of a series of 'Private' (encypted) streams using 30000 sr

One of the streams wasn't private ..and opened under vlc...
Can't see anything close by that it could be from ..
Anyone ??

...possibly the inclined Astra 1C ...
Just noticed its only 1 degree off the arc atm..?

Seeking but not finding anything here (not even at nearby satellites)!

Theoretically, it could be from 1C at this time. On the other hand according to flysat the operational frequencies of Astra 1C are from 11200 - 11450 MHz...

This time 11708V ...@ 1.8
A beautiful carrier constellation being built ....but switched off as I captured it ...so the red ring ...started to corrupt with noise dots ....
I suspect its gone now ...so screenprinted it very quickly

Nothing for me Conto TV is on 11662 V at Hot Bird though and so is Real Time on 12730 H.

Ok, that's explain it! Faulty diseqc switch or something like that! The first one is the fta Real Time Italia, at 12731,H,29900.

...well ...I'm hoping this gets confirmed ..and it isn't bleeding through from my second dish ..

I need to go outside and make sure the TD88 isn't pointed at 13 East..

Appologies for what might be a false alarm then ..

The TD88 doesn't look to be pointing at 13 East ...but I guess its deceiving from 30 mtrs ..

I'm going to disconnect the second dish whilst I continue the hunt ..
I dont think the switch is faulty ...
I think its Crazyscan losing control of the uncomitted switch which defaults to port 1 ...which is home to the TD88..
Again appologies if I got anyones hopes up ...I got lost in the excitement

Just checked the band of frequencies usually coming from Astra 1C. The scans I get are the usual stuff, one from Southwell racecourse, one from Brough Park dogs, so I would guess unlikely to be from 1N.

Another 'Halo' test at 10952V (1N)
Sadly not quick enough to capture a full constellation ..
The 'peak' is still there ..but the halo dissipated quickly

My guess ..they are testing the low frequency range ..whilst 2C is out of range ..and out of the picture so to speak.
