Sorry, I jumped a step - after invoking analyser you have to start the TSReader.exe file to bring up the TP/IP window.

Glad you're up and running :)

Might be worth noting that this card is PCi-e in the thread title.

There's other cards one being the Pro Omicom S2 PCi starting to pop up that can do the new modes but lack the data transfer rate of some of the feeds I have seen already and priced at €350!.

Anyway interesting constellation diagram on 15w. What is it treasure?

To check your card's low SR capability on a video broadcast channel, try TTV Targoviste on Astra 4A 12682V SR 1111 FEC 3/4.

Oddly, I found it impossible to get it to show anything useful in the Monitor clicking on the peak in Crazyscan, so I used TBS Recorder -

Hi friends ..
DvbViewer 4.9.0.0 pro is out ..released a couple of days ago ..
I've yet to install and try it ...but was surprised to find nothing in the changelog relating to the TBS6925 card ..

Anyone installed this yet ?

Gonna have to back up my user files/database before I upgrade ...but am hoping they have fixed the TBS/diseqc 1.1 issues ...
..but not getting my hopes up.

One thing I did notice is there is now DiSEqC1.2 positioner control which was missing before. Now I can drive the big dish with my Gbox 3000 through the 6925

I forgot to mention, the same DiSEqc1.2 ability is now included in ProgDVB 6.72.

Good to know they have addressed an issue giving more control ..
..I'm going to be dissappointed though if they have ignored my pleas on their forum ..regarding problems I was having ..

Thanks to Strs for backing me up on their forum btw ..
much appreciated m8

...Don't want to tempt fate ...or get ahead of myself ...BUT...
So far ...so good ..
After reconnecting the 1.1 switch and all of the main dishes ....I was able to use the pre-stored channels for the 2 ku moveable dishes ..
...in both Hi and low band ..
Not done a extensive test yet ...but so far so good ..
It does look like they've fixed the problem...
OOOpps I said it ....
fingers crossed it continues to _look good_...

Just had a go at this Llew ...
Interesting you quote the fec as 3/4 ...yet TBS recoder shows it as 2/3 ...

Thats what I get also ...but after running a short capture sequence ..and playing back with VLC ...I can just make out the TTV logo ...the rest of the screen displays a sort of foggy haze ...and shortly after VLC crashes totally ..??

No chance of trying a different codec with vlc ...
but presumably it should handle the stream the same as your setup ...as vlc uses its own built in codecs ..
very frustrating..

TTV works with DVBViewer Pro, DVBDream, and I guess with several other DVB players. But (big but) it constantly suffers from discontinuities, thus it is not easily watchable. Btw, TTV's audio is too low, is it only here?

This is the best I can manage ...
Stream captured using TSreader ...
played back as a free standing VLC media file ..
paused quickly 2 seconds in ...making a quick capture possible ..
If left to run VLC crashes ..

I am wondering now about the variation issue of the TBS cards ..
If memory serves you have a Rev1 ..wheras I have the later Rev2 ?
Is that correct ?

Sadly no dice ..with Dvbviewer pro ...
I tried entering the Freq and SR manually .....then doing a single frequency scan ..
It 'sees' the signal ok ....and at a good strength ...but will not lock or indeed ...capture the channel ..
..So the boxes lite up ok green/yellow ...during the scan ...but dvbviewer passes over it ...totally ignoring the channel as though its not there...
Most frustrating ...but then dvbviever wont lock or capture the TV Asia looping demo on 57East either ....Again ..thes is enough signal ..but dvbviewer ignores it as though it doesn't exist ..
TBS card issues ???
I'm starting to wonder....

TTV is also problematic (constant video break up, audio too low) on my DrHD F15,

No, it's a Rev2.

Btw. No problem with Asia TV either (quite impressive signal at 18.7d:cool:

Hmmm ...
Is anyone aware of any adjustments that can be made in dvbviewer ...before scanning to make it persist longer with lsr channels ?
I believe it isn't spending long enough iterrogating the stream for channel idents ..

Do you use DVBViewer itself or Transedit to scan? The latter is much better suited for this job...

Here's my screencap of crazyscan on the ttv peak ...
Doesn't look like low signal strength to me ....

So ...LSR issues ....or possible local interference maybe ?
