I found some very strange ones while watching SES-3.

May have been a false positive - strength declined as 1C moved off arc (if that sat was using that TP). Don't know why it showed up similar to an analogue signal though.

..but certainly the LF one earlier today was 1N ..
Odd though that it persisted for so long ...with just nothing on board ...just a varying carrier...but still

There's a new BDA source dll for TSReader available via the TBSdtv site, 'New TSReader dll V1.0.8.0'.

Apparently it fixes a problem switching to high band frequencies when using the TBS6925 as the source. Rarely use the tuner as the source myself, normally use TCP/IP when scanning with CrazyScan.

NFL Game VLC doesn't know what to do with TS

Attached is the TS info in .txt

TV2GO Inc was an early adopter of 32APSK modulation and even made a big deal out of it so no surprises there.

Struggling with this is like "back in the day" struggling with H.264 HD.

Good find Remlap. I've only found data channels in 32APSK. Certainly don't know what to make of the constellation output. Would check myself but it's a bit late now.

Looking around I seem to need to buy a AVC 4:2:2 Chroma capable codec and there isn't much option except MainConcepts at €120 no thanks

Edit - I got it with the free DIVX H.264 decoder recording ts and outputting into DVBViewer!

Edit x2 - Got it working with TBSRecorder so now its directly viewing in DVBViewer!

Got it with mainconcept and dvbviewer pro (live). Elecard AVC (trial version) also works...

Yeah I have now too directly in DVBViewer, DIVX is a free HD codec so that's what most of us will need I guess.

Just scanned NSS7 22W 11657H with the resulting info shown in the monitor.

It doesn't show any info at all in TSReader / VLC and nothing using Transedit, and no lock in TSR Recorder, very strange.

Beautiful Starburst constellation ..
I took a look at this one myself ...and like you couldn't 'lock' anything as such ..
However ..there is a data stream present ...but in bursts ...and contains nothing intelligable as picture data ...at least non I could decipher.
I'm convinced this is yet another version of FlexACM..

I'm attaching the TBS recorder in action footage as captured as swf ..
Clearly _something_ is being captured and recorded ..when the stream is active ..
..but the parameters are in a state of flux ...so most likely FACM ...and the reason TS reader can't get hold of it ..as with my Fox FACM feed in C-band.

Indeed it is very similar Llew ..
I'm convinced that if the stream contained any unencrypted video data ...that recording the whole stream as vlc compatible ..then playing back with vlc or dvbviewer would display it ..
..brobably fragmented and broken ...and quite probably would crash the application ...

Yes, regarding the dishes, best to be safe than sorry. My SMW dish on the 3" pole hasn't had any problem with any of the gales we've had over the last few years - doesn't move an inch. Must be down to the sturdy SMW polar mount.

When you have locked to a signal in Blind Scan and Constellation Monitoring, stop the process and click on 'Invoke Analyser'. A box pops up with ''-s TSReader_TCP %ip% %port%''.

Replace with "-s TSReader_TCP %127.0.0.1% %6969%".

Select source file TCP.dll in your TSREADER sources directory, and in the TCP/IP source box add your Crazyscan TCP/IP address (127.0.0.1 and 6969).

When you now click on the black DVB button in the constellation monitor, it will bring up TSReader.
