Seems you haven't the last necessary DLL libraries. Download Reqlibs.rar and unpack it into CrazyScan directory. Sometimes new dlls required for new CrazyScan version.

Bought a week ago this wonderful piece of hightec TBS 7983 dbb card and i've testing mainly on multistream packages and all work fine except french multistream package in 5w on 12648v.
I get the channels but get a frozen picture screen that changes every few seconds to another frozen picture screen.
What could be the problem? do this channels need a special configuration?

Should be OK with the correct PLS code (Gold+121212).

I already inserted that code, and get the channels, but as i said only get frozen pictures,

I am also using dvddream same version as you. Maybe tthe codecs are the cause? What codecs you use to watch this channels?

also using lav filters but chanels are completly freezed. ;(

Do'nt know what elsecould be the cause.
If everything works fine why not these channels?

I've received my 6983 from buydvb and there is no metal cover on the tuner chip.
Is it just mine or have they stopped soldering them on?
It is V20

The card knows symbol rate lower than shows technical specification-139 Ks. Found on Intelsat 902 at 62.0E in C-band.

Linux user here

I've worked through a few issues and 'make' now compiles without any errors.

I'm concerned about running 'make install' as root. 'make --dry-run install' shows the script would end up removing/overwriting a large number of existing .ko files that are part of the base system.

(files are already on my system - provided by the kernel packages)

Why is it doing this?

I had hoped just a few modules/drivers would need to be installed

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have had my TBS6983 card for 24 hours now.Progressing nicely.Tuners working alright.EBS Pro,Crazyscan.
Got stuck on EBScan though.It finds transponder. But not modulation,spectrum,or FEC, Bit Rate Zero.It save them in DVBDream Transponders .A scan in DVBDream though shows no transponders.Not surprising though .Settings seem to be fine.I am obviously missing something.Advice would be appreciated.

Has anyone noticed (or heard about) glitches/packet loss with the 6983? It might only be an issue with Gigabyte motherboards.

4.3 stable (maintenance release) [21 Sep, 2012] .Which looks a little old.Maybe I need a different Version.
