Re the title: What happens when it isn't strictly all-new anymore?
I mean, after I press [Post Reply], my entry will be the only new thing, and the rest will be old stuff?
Can someone then change the name to, say, "somewhat new, somewhat old gripes thread"?

Same as with the first similar Thread.

It got stale and unused, so when something got on my goat, I started a new one. This one.

And even this one only came back to life a couple of hours ago, so when it does become moribund, we will put it out of its misery and start over at a later date.

It's "All New" simply because the original was, ipso facto, Old.

The New referred to the Thread, not to the Gripes ......... Ambiguous, I know.

How very unrefined for an old blue hat to refer to a forum specialist as a foe! Call in the red caps!
This has turned into the off-topic thread, methinks.

But, if there's something I ABSOLUTELY HATE, it's the powdering of decent, regular, good-old-fashioned-threads with off-topic chatter and what have you.

This must stop! Now!

No, it's dashes, to be honest.
what-have-you.
I know, I know. The purists would have a "not" appended at the end of the what-have-you, but with modern language usage, you don't need the not.
(Not to be confused with "not that you don't need it", but rather "not need the not", because it's not it, but not's not. ...I think)
