wich one is the correct LOF ?

LOF is 20450, but you need to choose KA Inverto LNB type if you're using Crazyscan, to reverse the scanning sense.

I dont have PC satcard , I use the DrHD F16 .
Today put some lead in the KU throath and cut and prepaired the Triax feedhorn to fit in the SL3K .
Hard to tell but I belive it gives me ± 2 dB more signal .
Seems to me there is room for a second one on the other port .
Some time ago my eyes hit old burners of gashobs , maybe I can change them at the lathe into KA feedhorns if the inner size is correct .

I ordered a cone type feedhorn suitable for Wr42 waveguides and with the aid of a short piece of 15mm copper tube to make up the gap and Pattex resin to hold the whole thing in place, this also works very well and may have given me a little bit more gain than the Triax feedhorn. Sure wish I had your lathe Trust!!

With the LNB and LO frequency set correctly in the DR HD, you wouldn't have the channel frequencies inverted. Newsnet is lower in frequency than Garagliano.

(My SL3 LNB LOF is 'running slow' - Normal LO for this LNB is 20450)

Today I closed the unused part of the SL3K with a plastic plate and made a clamp to push the Triax feedhorn in the SL3K .
At that manner it is possible to turn the feedhorn by hand , put some grease at the back rim of the feedhorn to prefend trubble with water .
In that feedhorn I made a DE plate 12x20mm from my wifes creditcard , twisting the signal to H and V.
Quality at 18.766 H improved from 11.8 to 15.1 and 18.556 V from 7.8 to 10.8
Remarkable , the position of the DE plate , not 45º but approx. 22.5º from level .

LOL That is one way to stop the Wife spending on the credit card!! Have you cut out the septum down the throat and done any mod to the LNB PCB board at all?? Very interested in the credit card DE plate, is it possible to upload a photo showing it in position?

At a German board they suggested to use as they call it " Polystyrol " a kind of hard foame 2.5 mm thick and 12 x 20 long .
The SL3K is there unknown (not anymore ) they use modded Soarsat lnb's Inverto and Triax
Member Eric has such modded Triax TKT001 and he told me the DE plate should be in front of the Triax wavepipe , even with the deepest rim .
If you look carefuly to the picture you can see that black (sorry) foam plate .
For my setup it did't work wel , only 0.5 dB increase , so I tried the creditcard , with a lot more succes .
Did not open or modded the SL3K , I was so lucky to get a type with round wave pipes , that made it quit simple to attach those Triax feedhorn .
I think it will not work wenn you dont use a extra feedhorn .
Next thing for me to do is , on the lathe , make a copy of that Triax feedhorn for the other KA port to receive only circular , because the signal at 42º E is now gone .
And to add a 4rd stop position at my lnb changer to get KU - C- KaLin and KaCirc lnb's in focus .

Not so much to tell , only that I made a copy of the Triax KTK001 feedhorn for theother port , have to cut a piece of its edge to fit them together .
Took the lnb changer down to make a adjustable support for the SL3K to get it in the proper position in front of the Fibo subreflector .
Also to re-program the PLC to let stop the left and right KA port in focus of the Fibo subreflector .
Clear to see , the DE plate which make it possible to receive lineair signals with that circulair lnb .

I for one would be interested in a couple ...assuming they don't cost the earth to make ..
The idea of paying £30 + for lnbs just to carve up has always been a sticking point for me..
In truth I'm gutted than neither triax or inverto ever made a cast version of just the feedhorn available for sale..

If one could scan the dimensions of a good spec Ku band feed into a 3D printer, recalculating the size difference to Ka band should result in a similar performing horn.

It broke twice , took some time to get a proper horn .
But when there is interest and I can make 10 , I can buy some industrial tool and alu. at proper size .
Price will than be € 15 / feedhorn .
