Tring Card latest news (rumour)?

Spoke to a guy from southern satellites and he said he'd been in touch with the fa and they put a block on anything over 5000 cards coming in from now :-S

The TV rights has nothing to do with the FA it is infact 'The Premier League' - just to clarify

this sounds like its getting silly, wouldn't it be the football association that would do something about this as they control the football leagues in the country ?

I doubt they would limit the cards into the country more likely with draw the 3pm broadcast rights from tring like they did to digitalb.

after 5pm tomorrow if tring has shown 3pm games I'll eat my hat as the saying goes. it is just sounding too good to be true that it will be showing nearly all 3pm games, they are a tv provider from albania and I doubt they have the resources to screen the games

They are advertising games nearly every advert they have mate... seems strange if they dont plan on showing them!

same as when digitalb was showing them they were in 4:3 when they said they was going to move to 16:9.

on the DarkSlaves forum they are saying no English and poor pic quality. For £290 this card looks poor value at the moment.

Yes English but 4:3 and I've seen better quality web streams.

It is actually in 16/9 but not described as such in the stream. Quality varies a lot, sometimes it's quite poor.

I have been using other means to watch games but having issues with that so was thinking of getting tring.

is the picture quality still the same or improved, would getting a 6month card still show the football, did anyone confirm if only these tring plus cards show the football ?

Still showing max four 3pms plus all the others. Video quality variable and can be poor at worst and below average at best. Promised English commentary on 3pms comes and goes.

Don't know what card you need to guarantee getting the 3pms.

Hi all
Having just set myself up with all the gear, I am looking to puchase one of the tring cards & cam, but am getting nervous now after reading some of the stories here. Does anyone use one in TM 6800 on a 85cm dish in the SE area / whats the quality like & reception. Ony interested in EPL games, are there any Sunday games shown. Also according to some retailers state the Tring plus card also recieves some movie channel...Can anyone help

Try tuning in Vizion Plus, which is a FTA channel, on the same frequency as most of the Tring channels.
