Please post any information here, how do we know what tuner will work. manufactures appear to give very little information.

First up to work on S2x is @AndyX very nice LG EF950v,
LG 55EF950V Television - 55 OLED 4K TV is an eco-friendly revolution in picture quality and webOS Smart TV - LG Electronics UK

I am thinking of buying this, any ideas if it has a S2x tuner.
LG 55UH650V | LG Electronics UK

The wife appears to claimed my only 4k tv so I will have to buy another :D, the one I have ive yet to test it on S2x, I will try to find time

Although the TV also has a blind scan it insists on scanning all satellites even when you choose just one. There is no delete channel function either so don't give up your satellite receiver yet!

Totally different this one Andy LG 55UH650V | LG Electronics UK you can scan just one satellite and has delete options, blind scan is quite quick,

Also does S2x :)

Looks like you have an updated version of the software. Unlike the Samsung TV I have, I have only had one over the air software update. The Samsung was updated every couple of months for the 1st 2 years.

I had a new update this morning don't know what's been updated, will check build version and see if can find any information.

So did I!...the TVS ears must have been burning. Still no joy on blind scanning only one satellite although I did manage to do so by pressing "skip", then "no" and then skipped each satellite till the one I wanted came up and then skipped the rest once it had finished scanning that satellite. I am not convinced the blind scan is efficient. I tried scanning Eutel 21B but a lot of low sr channels were missed.

Not noticed any new features yet but I will keep looking.
I got the X2 direct from China. I had to create a satellite database from scratch as the satellite list was for America. I still prefer my dr.hd D15 as the best box for scanning. Nothing has come out so far that can beat it though some boxes, particularly Technomate can match it.

What transponders are you missing Andy ?

Depends what your doing with it, I like to feed hunt, TM boxes take to0 long to scan, accurate though, TM went down hill for feed hunters when they stopped making the 1500 imho.

I did a complete blind rescan on both the LG and the DR.HD clearing existing transponders to make it a fair comparison. The LG actually picked up a couple of channels the DR didn't get. The scan took a long time on the LG. The missing transponders were picked up when I manually put in the parameters from the LG. The DR was marginally more sensitive though.
I, like you, mainly feed hunt and am always looking out for a better receiver.

It seems to me that LG TV set from 2015 have already incorporated S2X technology.I have discovered now that my model LG-40UF7787 knows how to scan and stores the programs on transponders with S2X extension, whether it is on Astra-192E or Eutelsat-33.1E.
Those who have televisions from LG worth trying.
