How much would a 1.2m motorised dish be? And would this be sufficient for NE England...

it does look to be worth the extra money as its 3 years subs paid up so you can say for 434 a year its a bargain plus it will be in hd and have english audio.

paxrax, is the receiver a pvr as it says in the ad. did you ask the seller to see if they could do a 12mth sub and receiver or was it only 3 year prepaid.

I sent a message to the seller asking but I doubt it. I've seen you can get 6,12,24,36mth on the viasat website in the terms and conditions.

the pace pvr is nice to have, do you know what size hard disc in it ?

do you get viasat motor channel in your package, i cant see it in the list of channels ?

oh I thought you had bought it for yourself at home, well 1300 was very good deal for your club.

I'm tempted but unsure whether i want to spend that amount of money.

tbh, you could keep it for a year and sell it on ebay and still make a profit on it in 12 months time:D

Thats nice for you but please DONT multi post & hijack every current Viasat thread with the same info. Some of them were for unrelated topics - not everyone wants Viasat for the sport - one of the threads were for foreign relatives from one of the Baltic countries who just wanted their own tv.

Ive deleted some of the posts,

Worth digging up this thread given events this weekend.

The caution is that what might be working for some people at the start of the football season often does not last the whole season.

In London I could get it on a Penta 85 dish ... SD channels only on Astra 4a. I don't get anything from SES-5 that carries HD channels even on a 1.5m dish in Bristol. The further east you are, the more chance you have with those. I would say a 1.2m should be sufficient there but no guarantees.
