I wasn’t getting very good results with my elevation set to 05° in the auto script, so I have now adjusted the max elevation back to 19° that way it should start to record it when the satellite is at 20° or higher.



I have also lowered the recording level for the dongle, this is done in another script.

I will now wait for the next pass and see what results I get.

Time of day may also play a part in this.

Not too bad this scan from a 4 West pass.I usually get more interference from the houses

Here is another nice one from NOAA 18.Last week I could not get a good scan from this satellite.
This is from 4 East.The west ones are the problem ones.The next pass is at 19 West 20:20. UTC
