Hi yes, i can see clearly it states 1.2 metre made in the usa, but on my camera phone you cant see it clearly, with my eyes wearing my glasses i certainly can

Pretty certain its just a North / South footprint issue ... always had difficulties with 7 West up here

Alignment etc seems good ... screen shot of sky news at 1.0 west below ....

@Jason001 im currently getting 6.5db on MBC3 - watchable, no glitch, and 9.8-10.2db on AD SPORT 1 - blue sky \ patchy clouds, but bright out.

I concur Nelson. It was below lock on my Precision 1.3 also. John is way more to East than me. We had a similar issue with TV1000 many years back. Signal for me would fade to nothing early evenings ok 24/7 for John.

Arc is very close to spot on ... I also have elevation control, for ultra fine tuning on the 1.2 - so can always get the best out of it. :-)

Hello all, a further update.

So today i went to the dish and i could see the 1.2 metre dish at the back, so 1000% it is that size of dish.

On 1 west sky news, i managed to get a signal of 95% 15.00 db to 15.50, that is the highest reading i got, so i left the LNB there im now using the older long neck black ultra

However now i cant get 7 west at all on ad sport 1 and 2 hd i do see a signal going from 0 to 45% but no picture, but i do hear a picture now and again.

If i skew the LNB so i get a picture on AD sports then i lost the good reading on sky news, it goes to about 83% signal snr, but even then i still cant get mbc 4 5 etc on the weaker freg.

I think im not going to cure this, ill have to skew the LNB so i get some of 7 west, and lower the signal on 1 west.

I did push the dish up and down and again saw no improvement on the signal.

U might need to move the whole assembly slightly on the pole and peak at 1w and then see how 7w looks

I had to do that . When u centre for sky news. Was the dish bang on straight or had u moved the motor a few clicks to 1w

ive just turned the LNB a weak 7 west now comes in, but its gone very dark here and now its gone, the readings on 30 west are 99% 53 east is 70% on kurd sat channel. so i think i might have to pass now, if the dish isnt tracking the arc correctly then it will have to stay that way i feel, i think not having a polarizer is not helping, but i know i use to get 7 west better than this a year or so ago, but unless someone has any other ideas, that are easy to try, i think im beaten to be honest.

im finding that some are stronger than others on 1 west, however if i move the dish a tiny bit on the postioner they increase, but then i lose a small fraction on the other channels, but i see some of these satellites are 0.6 07 and 0.8 so i think that is why.

Ill move the dish to 1 west now and see if it is straight or not

the motor and dish needs to be exactly central on the pole when you're tweaking 1w on sky news, if its out by any degrees, you'll find 7w will be out - you're very close dont get me wrong...but this is what you need to pay attention to, unless you're happy giving up.

theres no point adjusting skew after on any other sat other than 1w - if you want a universally strong signal across the arc. (in my experience)

Hi, how can i tell if it is nor not please, would it help if i post photos from the side as well.

Also another question if the dish is not central would you still get more signal by moving the dish up and down, because ive found you dont, it seems like it is a max.

depends on what sat - if it needs nudging over on the pole to get more signal on 7w, then yes, you will need to slacken off the bolts and nudge it, however, this should be done on 1w....rinse and repeat.

The motor clamp bolts. U can't be on the arc if 7w is missing
