Tele5 has a weaked signal...

The majority of the channels are now off air and carrying a white info card. Arte have done down a different route and are carrying a black card.


Tele 5 has a much much weaker signal than the others and its info card is a sparkly mess.

The biggest surprise though is that HSE24 & Eurosport are still on air

The frequencies formerly occupied by 3Sat / ARD / Sport 1 / NDR & NTV are empty presumably digitalised.

It would be nice if it would remain a few channels, so use the receivers as a radio, or to set up astra easily.

From Twitter: Just reading that NTSC was used on Tele5 last few minutes in Analogue, that's just awesome. PAL and NTSC used final few minutes on Astra 1

Now I can't receive any radio stations. Tele5 has a blibking testcard (maybe NTSC? I haven't checked it yet, I will see it on VHS recording). Who knows, when transponders will be switched off?

Anyone notice what time HSE got chopped?

About 11:00-12:00 GMT+1 (more or less correct time I will be able to say after digitizing tapes).

It says, that Eurosport will be switched off at 0:00. But I can't guess, is it UK time or German time... For reinsurance I'm recording Eurosport without stop from 11:30 GMT+3.
