I've captured all of my tapes from shutdown and made a some sort of chronology of shutdown. I've recordered RTLRadio, Eurosport and QVC shutnowns. And many-many intermediate zappings.

Meaningful names for videos will be given later. Now filename rules are as follows:
A BB BB CC CC name
A - tape number
BB BB - time
CC CC - date

All times are Belarus GMT+3 time (German time +1).

I remember Phoenix testing prior to launch. It was the most bizarre testing i've ever seen!!! The screen would go from black to ultra white and the sound from a really low tone to so high it was virtually impossible to hear it.

SES have announced, that 19 transponders will stay "empty" for the time being, because there is no demand for further capacity right now. They only expect "full commercialization" for 2016 again.

@solly: as Ive already said, dont hold your breath, it'll take a while until more channels will appear... markets are quite saturated.
