Im very thankful of the ability to track other folks planes atm coz there is sod all happening up in Scotland atm!

Glasgow Intl. has been shut down completely for the last 2 hours & wont reopen until tomorrow

BA has cancelled almost all flights into Scotland from other UK airports, all Flybe's into & out of Scotland are grounded & Loganair has stopped flights from Glasgow Edinburgh & Dundee.

It’s dam annoying, as I was try to test another pi img. This time ascars.

That will have to wait now......

I have got the splat location sorted.I just needed.The latitued and longituded for Weslands inputing to reciever location.Still got somrthing eles to sort though.

Edit looking at the map Westlands is a bit off.It will do for now though.

Hi and welcome we are linking virtual radar server via the rebroadcast server option.

You can also use port forwarding to the ads-b receiver in my case it’s a raspberry pi 3 running Dump1090 plus 3 feeders to other sites, I am using a home brew aerial.

Added dump978 to the mix just haven’t been able to go ad by the bits I need to make the aerial for it.

I do have the second dongle plugged in ready to go.

What kit are you using?

Had a message from @Confucian his set up has suffered a malfunction somewhere up the 45ft tower, so he will be down for about a week or so.

Using a piaware image but if you want my feed too you have to tell me how to add your server.....

You need to set up virtual radar server with a rebroadcast server enabled.

Then port forward the rebroadcast server port number (your choice) in your router.

Also you need to a ddns Address eg dyndns etc.

All the information needed to setup VirtualRadar is contained in this thread, if you get stuck ask, we will do our best to help you. (If we can)

It doesnt work with anything apart from avr/beast setting - I either get loads of bad messages or it just doesnt connect....

I normally get Confucians feed from Chris.When he is on line.
I assume that the continental ones are from ttalex also fed from Chris.

They are coming from my server. I have just rebooted the machine running vrs. It’s in base station format.

Yes I use Base station.
I asume that Liews planes are in the mix too,also fed from you.
