Still nothing ..
I guess my TBS card is either faulty or has a different front end / chipset..
Not sure how to check this ..
but I _am_ very disappointed ..thats for sure.

Well it's the StreamreaderExEx-BDA that came with 1.0.1.54. The accompanying streamreader text file shows the tuner version, as I posted above.

Done some digging and there are version differences between V1 and V2 ...odd that my log file reports TBS6925 V2 and Llews just TBS6925 ....which could be interpreted as V1 ...but for the fact that both logs state (cut 3.0)..which according to my digging makes them both Version 2..
This is confusing to say the least ..and I may never understand why I cannot lock and dismantle the data streams.
If anyone has any suggestions to add ...I'd be VERY intested..

Tried everything I can think of now ...including a clean build of windows ..just to make sure there are no conflicting apps lurking.
One thing that ocurred is that I am using XPpro..
Can anyone confirm they have their TBScard working with CrazyscanPLS on XP (13 East 11432V) ACM ..
Many images look to be using that WIN7 ..thing...
If all else fails ...I may well remove the TBS and send it to Llew to test in his PC..
Assuming he doesn't mind the inconvenience.
Logical process of elimination is all that's left to me.

With Crazyscan running, in the logfile (Streamreader text), what do you have after PLSSe 0x08? (that's where you select root 8). I don't suppose you have MISSel at all?

Hi Crazycat ..I hope you don't mind me contacting you directly as I can't post to the forum atm.
I'm a member of satellites.co.uk and it was suggested I might Join up at Ricks ..so that I might be able to contact you directly.
I love your software by the way...its superb ..and the combination of this plus the TBS6925 is an excellent combination for persueing my DX hobby.
Up to now I have had no problems ..but Having discovered that your new PLS software was capable of resolving the data layers on transponders such as those on Mediaset Hotbird 13 East 11432V ..I was fascinated and eager to try it out ..
Sadly I can't get the TBS6925 to lock and resolve those data streams ..
I have sufficient signal levels on my 1.2 Gibby ..and if I set 'root 8' ..the consellation resolves clearly showing it to be 8psk ...but no lock achieved ..no SR or fec etc ..thus I can't analyse the stream.
I'm using the latest version of your software 1.0.1.56
and the latest streamreader dll ...the required lib files ..and the latest TBS card driver StreamReaderExEx-BDA
But I'm still using XPpro..
is there an issue with XPpro ..or do I simply have a TBS6925 incapable of working with PLS.
I believe it is a version 2 card ..and I'm attaching a smal clip from the streamreader log which might provide a clue.
I simply can't understand what I'm doing wrong ..as in every other respect the 6925 an Crazyscan work perfectly well together.
Any assistance you can give me would be most appreciate ..

..Just got a reply from Crazycat over at Ricks ...to my PM ..
He suggests a problem with SNR ...but I can't send him the snr for this transponder as it requires to lock before such info is displayed.
What I have sent him is the info of an adjacent locked transponder 11393 V 27500
which returns
RF level -51dbm
SNR 14.9db
BER zero

the peak of which on the scan graph is about the same height and width as 11432V

My SNR is 14.7dB on 11432V and 15.1dB on 11393V. Not much difference there, shouldn't be much less for you on 11432V.

Here with T-90 and old crappy LNB no problem with locking & viewing 11432V with 13.2 dB. Neighbour 11393V is 13.6 dB.
Edit: attachment added. Actually now I have sometimes freezes of the picture. Watch the BER, am I on the edge?

Another question ...a bit off topic for Crazycat ..
I notice on the 'search standard' drop down box there appears to be an option for DCII ..
which I assume to be digicypher ..
Can the TBScard resolve DCII ?
I can't access many channels of this type ..but maybe a couple in Cband ..
I haven't tried it yet ..but am interested to know if fta DCII can be resolved.
