OK. I just deleted the channels and re-scanned. I can report I am receiving versions of ITV1 on both 20700 and 20711. 20715 and 20780 - blue screens.

All coming up with nothing on my SkyHD box. What are you doing that I'm not? I'll try a rescan as well.

I believe it is Central South.

Nah - the footy coverage was including Brighton & Southampton. Its a Meridan channel of some sort.

Forget about the SKY box all it does is come up with the labels and no lock

That would make it Meridian South then and that coinsides with the weather map I saw earlier being centralised on that area and using Meridian East and South's weather man.

As I said above Central South comes from Meridian's Studios in Whitely, Hampshire. Have a look at the screenshot I posted of the two side by side above.

20711 comes up twice after a scan on my VU+. One of the scanned 20711s says( after channel switching) briefly service not found SID not found in PAT yet there it is on the screen . Strange.

Do a rescan of the transponder and mark "Clear before scan" as "yes".

I imagine it is the spot beam as that is the whole point of ITV moving off of it's 2A/2B TPs. I wish SES would publish this information.

Been away for a few days so catching up with the thread from Page 19 onwards!! Good to see more 1N activity, on the subject of Central S I'm sure they canned the local 10min news opt-out on this (Oxford) micro-region and amalgamated it with Meridian. I suspect only the ads are, or should be, different. Will watch a bit of it later on.

20700 is definitely Central S as showing Oxford ads but editorially comes under Meridian North's news opts, I suspect Oxford is one of the areas the BBC want to can on DSAT with their DQF proposals.

I knew you were as literally I'd just scanned the channels in on the TV in my bedroom which was less than 12mins when you posted

Looks like the ITV1+1 will be next to appear from 11973V, wonder what ITV1HD variant will go on 20780 as the SID label is flagged in HD and ITV's playout contractors (TNS) have been routing different HD feeds in to the existing 11973V 7480 label. I guess too that the data flagged SID is also earmarked for the data currently carried on 12402V to free this up for more services, possibly ITV1+1's?

Can someone check the resolution of these ITV1 regions, presume they are 704x576i like all the others?
