PMT has just returned and the only one transmitting at the moment is 20700 (Showing ITV1)

Seems they are still testing and trying things out.

Can find the labels:
20710
20711
20715
20780

First two give immediate "There is a technical fault with this channel"
Other two Blue Screen.

Are they transmitting now?
They are being recieved here in west Suffolk, UK quite well, not as strong though as most other BBC & ITV stuff on 28.2

20700 - Popped up with my Meridian E man but with the map shifted over from the SE to more central south. (So Meridian South, I would guess)
20711 - Popped up with a woman I don't know with a capion ITV Central Weather.

Could be Central East and Central South off 11973V.

My SkyHD+ Box shows nothing as well. So something it doesn't like or missing. Be thankful for Freesat boxes and cards.

Interesting map! Then Meridian is sub-divided into East, South and North (I think) All over-complicated if you ask me. (But no one ever does!) :D

Not sure but most of Central South's material comes from Meridian's studios in Whitely, Hampshire so would probably have the same weather person.

Yes 11973 is encrypted. I don't know if it is a simulcast but the adverts on ITV1 CS are the same as 20700.

Maybe you should complain to the King that people in Tenerife are being treated differently from those on the peninsula.

Errors were at 3.5 -3 (from memory double check tomorrow)
No image I'm afraid
10964 nothing - nothing on the spectrum

This is a fairly basic meter (really pleased with it for a point shoot type model) but would have thought that if the meter got a lock then should see something.
Will try some more receivers tomorrow.

Cheers
Ch 4 on 12267 gives me very similar readings (slightly lower ) but is of course QPSK and 27500 not 8psk and 22000. Could this be the difference?

Hi Triggs,

6.2dB MER on 8PSK / 22000 is pushing it I would of thought and way too low for a receiver to lock. Do you have CNR or SNR measurements?

Bloody ITV regions are so confusing -20700 20701 and 20710 are all ITV 1 on my VU+ but I cant really identify the regions (see my posts above for my earlier stabs in the dark). The SNR though is definitely not as good as 21200 or the CH5 bouquet . Defo narrow beam

OK. I just deleted the channels and re-scanned. I can report I am receiving versions of ITV1 on both 20700 and 20711. 20715 and 20780 - blue screens.

20700 is not Meridian East - Meridian South is a possibility. Cant see the 2 scrambled ones, as I cant steal the Sky card - the missus is watching summat. The local opt out mentions Guildford which suggests Meridian South.

20711 is Central East

Delete 701 - its no longer present on the tp.

I believe it is Central South.

As I said above Central South comes from Whitely and when it goes regional it is marked _itv.com/meridian.

Here's a screenshot of the two side by side.
