Looks to me like the only difference is the removal (or is it addition? - don't know which is the old and which is the new!) of the 45 contour. There's no extra coverage.

Yes, they added the 45cm contour a while ago to match that shown in their Google Earth and iPad versions.

Edit: Actually it's just the iPad app that showed the 45cm lines before now.

Some levels seen from here: 12304 H a few %'s down, 12207 V a few %'s up.

I see Flysat have suggested they are all on 2E Europe but according to SES there are only 42 transponders for Europe (I assume this includes UK beam too since there is no other mention of it) and 12 for the Middle East beam plus 4 KA band transponders on this bird.

We currently have 16 UK spot transponders online from 10.7-10.95GHz.
If the transponders between 11.7-12.5GHz are all 2E Europe now that would be another 35 online at the moment.

Total would be 51 transponders transmitting over Europe from 2E.

There's only about 19 transponders active on 2F over Europe whereas SES claim it can handle 40 for Europe and 12 for Africa plus 3 KA band.

I think some went to 2F.

Hi I am in Cyprus and lost everything yesterday but I was able to find a fringe signal on 12188H for on demand services BUT today I cannot find any signal does anybody have any suggestions for a possible fringe signal in Cyprus today please??

If you can't get Astra 2E, 2F or Eutelsat 28A then you may need to wait and see if Astra 2G will give you some signals later in the year when it's taken into service but I'm not sure there will be many/any Europe beam transponders in use for Sky. We'll have to wait and see.

11585H (with SR 22000, FEC 5/6 and QPSK as parameters) is supposed to be a SKY transponder on Eutelsat 28A. I can resolve it on a Satlook analyser at 42.8dB but it does not lock either on the Satlook or a Horizon meter. Is this a possible contender for a SKY default transponder - and are the parameters correct?

Yes, actually that's a good point, there is nothing on 11171H as far as I can see.

I know but it did give me some kind of signal that made my box work for a while!

I have had some high signal on 11182H. But that did not go away on this change.

Are you sure your box isn't getting brief glimpses at the default EPG transponder 11778V? If it detects a signal on 11778V it'll revert back to that even if you've set a different default transponder. You may find at certain points during the day the signal is just receivable so best to take measurements at different times of the day.

I have had some high signal on 11182H. But that did not go away on this change.

I see a strong data channel on 11186V on my 85cm dish at about 13.7dB according to the F15. I think this is still coming from 2C along with 11009V which is even stronger.
