Same here, they have now the typical 2E signal, around 1 to 2.5db less than 2F depending on time of day.Well if it has gone to 2E, it has made no difference to the reception here.
So it is.
Asi es.
"The switch, likely to include all of Channel 4, will add to the misery of thousands of UK expatriates in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Germany, soon after losing all BBC services last Thursday."

I find it hilarious we can technically have a worldwide culture where we can all share but this is deliberately hobbled so that "rights holders" can release "content" slowly, region by region, format by format to maximise profit for their shareholders. TV will go the way of music if they carry on like this.
And there are still those two data carriers 11464 11479 which are on 1N as well...
What I see as ironic, and this is my personal opinion, is if they claim that these channels are for the domestic market why make use of Satellite beams when, as everybody knows, that Satellite transmission's purposes is to reach beyond ones shores......and precisely that's where expats expectations comes to the fore. If they want to keep such transmissions for the domestic market they can make use solely of terrestrial broadcasts, which of course they already do.
Well I always thought the massive investment in DTT was ridiculous. Everyone should have switched to satellite when analogue TV was being phased out.Not so. In the UK there are still many cold-spots for Terrestrial TV and indeed that was the original driving force for the Freesat Platform.
Even after a programme of Transmitter enhancement in the wake of turning off our Analogue services, there are still enough gaps to mean that Satellite is the only viable reception method (Areas without DTT tend to also lack Cable).
In the Republic of Ireland, which has similar problems, they have filled in the gaps with Ka Band transmissions (Saorsat) which has multiple highly focussed spot-beams.

Dish alignment and LNB skew/reach was checked before and after LNB swap using a Satlink 6908 meter (not the best I know). Receiver is a Sky+ HD Amstrad DRX890.
