Be glad. You can receive 2F. Wish I could say the same.Oh, ok. It was fine up to an hour ago so assumed it was an early start to tonight's changeover. Loss must be due to poor weather then.
Upcoming night ITV will move to 2E. Channel 4 this week as well.

Channel 4HD recently gone AWOL so it looks as if it's been transferred to 2E UK spot already.
from where it go ?
I emailed Lyngsat about this several months ago and was told that only transponders with active radio and TV channels are listed. If a transponder is just carrying data it won't show.Lyngsat seems to have forgotten about 11778V. It's not listed on any satellite at 28.2E. (It should of course be on 2E PE.)
More like a year.Channel 4 HD has been on 2F UK for several weeks.

It was my mistake Solly. I had assumed it moved from 1N but, as BLUEPLATINUM reminded me, Channel 4 HD was transferred to 2F UK Spot weeks ago. So this evening's loss of signal must be down to poor weather margin of my 120 cm x 130 cm dish.
OMG - I Can't believe 2F has been in service for so long. Doesn't time fly?Actually CH4 HD has moved to 2F spot beam when it went into service more than a year ago

EDIT: beat me to it Huevos ;)
My LNB of choice... good man. Check screw and dish alignment too. What receiver have you got?Yes, I am grateful for small mercies!! But only possible after changing from a Grundig LNB to an Inverto Black Ultra. Obviously 2F UK Spot is very marginal though and 2E Spot reception is non existent.

Thanks for the info tp 11007 ~ 11009.Both ITV and C4 move from 1N to 2E from early tomorrow morning. By the time people wake up tomorrow, 1N should almost be cleared of TP's.
Can someone confirm, the Data TP on 11009V, is this still active and the only data TP left in Band C? Is 12129H now carrying an identical copy of this?
On the question of spot/wide switching and whether these satellites have fixed spots in Bands C and D; if 1N is anything to go by then they must be switchable in both lower bands as this data TP is on one of the PE beams whereas we know previously we've seen 1N TP's active on the 'fudged' UK spot from 1N (prior to transfer to 2F).
Yes, it's an interesting one, is it it's final position or is it temporary. Will Eutelsat move to 2E or 2F?so the official nominal position of Astra 2E is 28.35°E, not 28.2°E. Right between 28.5 and 28.2, a compromise... the next sign of Eutelsat - Astra hand over.
It copy 12129?? no.i just come from pool
tonight
signal 11005v curentley gone
it copy 12129h ?
The same joke they let me in with tp active Amazonas 61°W years.I emailed Lyngsat about this several months ago and was told that only transponders with active radio and TV channels are listed. If a transponder is just carrying data it won't show.
