i cant 100% confirm but the power levels from another 1n trasnspodner and wha ti record a few days ago are different i had 94% snr before and 78% agc so there a difference in power which wher ei am would work out because the beam has more power on the uk spot on 2f than 1n for me but i am in the uk so expat need to check now

That's what I'm thinking. Did a search on 10996H on my Humax PVR, and it picked up the channels listed as being on 10994H (on 1N).

10996H is identical to me today as it was on Monday, at 88% quality, in Buckinghamshire.

10994H is the transponders with ITV localized channels. It's there since May this year:
ITV 1 HD Granada
ITV 1 Meridian TV North
ITV 1 Anglia TV West
ITV 1 Yorkshire TV East
ITV 1 Central TV South West
ITV 1 +1 Yorkshire TV East

Here the signal quality is 100%. But it was already before.

Well if it is 2F I can report I am receiving it on a 2.4m Channel Master in Gran Canaria.

from budapest, hungary, i can confirm that i receive 10994H, i get higher quality levels than usual, but these are changing hours of the day: signal drops on most tp's. whats strange is that the quality meter moves up and down more, than usual

Just wondering. The BBC usually announces when there is an upcoming change. Didn't they announce the satellite change from the 2D to the 1N also?

Transponders are about 20MHz wide and targeting a frequency close to but not on the nominal will simply lock that nominal Transponder

Yes. They usually put information on their blog in good time. I have been keeping an eye on it today but nothing added.

The BBC transponders were the last to switch to the 1N, so maybe the same applies for the change over to the 2F.

that transponder comes in here at 51% snr and 8.5 dB... 51% has been pretty much average for all the 1N transponders this past year, and 8.5 dB is above average for Freesat channels in general here on my receiver.

Personally, I doubt that I would get 8.5 dB off 2F with an 80 cm dish in central Germany...

I gave my dish a good cleaning today though... removed some dirt and bird droppings... :-shifty somehow now all the channels are around 0.5 decibels stronger...

Well if you remove the wildlife that is inclined to live inside the LNB feedhorn, you might get another 0.5dB!

I see no change - the power levels are almost the same as the others on similar frequencies

well, im right on the edge here with some 1n the tp's, 10994H being one of those and its 9pm here, and the daily signal drop has started, so its pretty much the same as always.

Let's get real. The 2D to 1N migration went without a hitch. It is highly probably they will duplicate it exactly for 1N to 2F. Roll on Friday night when it should all begin!!
