Those countries are nowhere near West Africa. Closest is CAR at 4.3N and 18.5E. That's further away than the current WAB. So is it a pan Africa beam stretching from Senegal all the way to Rwanda (at 2.0S, 30.0E)? If so that is a huge area to spead out the power of a 105W transponder and hardly likely to cause much inference in Tenerife. The satellite will provide a substantially enhanced coverage including high power for West Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Rwanda and Burundi.´´
I doubt it.I PREDICT UK AND WAB CHANNELS UP AND RUNNING THE SAME WEEK
Tenerife is twice as far from the UK than southern Spain, and 16ºW of the prime meridian.lets say that the uk beam, has a flaw such it causea overspill right down to the lower end of spain
Argh. So West Africa beam is on 5E, and Central Africa beam is on 28E. Is that correct. If so that beam will be well out of reach of Tenerife at more than 3000km.it was show wab in las vegas they speak ses 5 and footprint africa on astra 2f
yes i saw that but its so óuter space´´ it was giving me sea sickness lolFor more info SES has an interactive fleet option with ( possible ) satellite footprints based on the google earth plugin.
