then OMs in South East Europe (Crete, West Turkey) should be able to get those.

even lyngsat's info is not correct, they put 11509V on 2F-UK, which is certainly wrong...that one has to be on 2G Europe, it's almost burning a whole into my LNB cap. Same is true for 11464H and 11479V...
Yes, I noticed that too. Also they haven't moved all the 2F UK transponders over (just the one BBC has publicly confirmed moved), but I assume they are still waiting for more info on those?

I would agree with your list.

From southern Finland it's also very easy to tell what is on 2G Europe as it is so strong compared to 2E and 2F Europe.

That could well be Astra 2G Europe. Have you tried moving the dish slightly west of 2F?

OK Here´s a theory, based on what we know and don´t know!
2G is switched on before the handbrake has been engaged
TXP changeover very rapid before normal testing has taken place
No announcement from SES about the new " bird "
2G " appears " to be out of position according to all sat tracking sites, and the need to " bump " the dish slightly west

Slight problem with existing birds?

2G obviously has a sharp edge between Greece and Turkey, probably following the shape we know from the official footprint further west through the Mediterean sea. I still think this is to avoid co channel interference with near by Badr satellites on 26°E in their target area.

Solly if these Freqs 11224 H - 11224 V - 11264H - 11264V are coming from 2G then the signal levels here in Malta are between 12.40 - 14.23 db.
For example Freq 11224 V 27500 2/3 is registering 14.26db.

I always wonder how many people are actually watching all those lego channels. I sometimes even find something worth watching on them, but then the picture quality is so bad it is no fun really. sorry OT.

Hi

LyngSat also has 12422H listed as being on Europe beam.
I hardly think so. For me, it is the weakest transponder at 28E.
I have 7,5 dB on that transponder, compared to roughly 12 dB on 2E UK beam.

Regards,
Bengt
