Thought it was about time someone re-opened this thread!

Snowed lightly from around 21.00 yesterday but it stopped around 07.00 this morning, and so only about 2-3 cm snow in this part of London and now melting- but quite a lot more in the countryside around the city.

What's it like where "you" are?

PS: to @Terryl - we hear that the Mid-West is taking a battering, so what's it like "over there"?

Freezing fog and -8C last evening made driving a tad hazardous.

Whilst it did look like there might be a blizzard on the way, what came down last night has already melted away.

Local news has however confirmed there are idiots out on the roads with no ability to drive.

Well in that bonkers 3 day summer we had at the beginning of last week, when visiting a friend who has moved to Halton near Lancaster, after our walk through the Crook o'Lune we ended up at her daughter's new build house and they were all set for the good weather to continue, but I thought their barbecue was quite neat
