Nothing on my 88cm dish either I think you need a bigger dish

The signal Quality has gone up here to 70% so just maybe possible on the smaller dish.

The amplifier will give no benefit as it amplifies only what is there - signal plus noise - and adds more noise.

To spell it out: Connect your receiver as close to the dish as possible. If this is not possible then re-check your dish alignment it's not a good idea to use an amplifier to compensate for old or poor quality cable.

So my advise is remove the signal amplifiers as the only signal that you will see improve is the Signal Level & this is mainly the background noise from the Universe this is what you saw when an old analogue TV had no signal,

The Signal that you want to improve is the Signal Quality if there is none there then you need to reset your dish on your reference satellite @ 1 west.
Try upgrading the cable first to WF125 & eliminate all the cable joins.

Not to mention, the amplifiers are probably full of water!

Unfortunately the TD110 doesn't have 4x separate bolts to tighten, but only 2 long ones - and the bolt heads and nuts are on opposite sides of the mounting bracket, and so I can't do the same thing whilst still supporting the dish exactly in position. ( were I Superman, that would not be a problem! )

Glad this thread is back on topic.

"Crossed" ideas - there are 4 bolts through the motor elevation bracket to the motor, but only 2 long ones with nuts that hold the elevation bracket to the dish itself to allow for declination adjustment - and THOSE are the ones to which I was referring.

Afternoon.

Yesterday I discovered that the Darkmotor had developed noticeable backlash because the "best" position-setting for 10E kept varying, and then I confirmed the issue by looking at the dish - but fixed that this morning (it's actually very easy/quick) with guidance from CH.

Took the line-amp off the TD 110 LNB this morning - now lost virtually all the FTA channels on 10E when I checked with the SX88, so no chance with the Dakar channels later in the day.

And GUESS WHAT? I am watching it too!

Got nothing on the SX88 this morning, but Dakar TV1 is now coming in loud and clear on the TM most of the time, (57%/ 7-8dB strength), but then breaking up & pixelating at times (during the night shots).
Must have been that line-amp that was causing most of the problems after all - thanks to all for pointing that out

OTOH, the SX88 is still picking up zilch - got to find out what's gone wrong there!

Still getting nothing on the SX88, but plenty of signal on the TM and not showing as encrypted - but no picture -> tried manually inputing the PIDs shown in post #72 but that did not help

My ignorance is showing (again!) here - please can anyone explain this?
Update: "Feed 1" message now showing again, so I think I understand what was happening a few minutes ago.

100cm Gibby + TM6902HD with 70% signal Quality (This is not unusual as both scales are calibrated differently)
