Im just rechecking as well - now Im getting ALL the tp's above 12130! (part from the multistream one which I wont get anyway on my rx) Overcast, drizzle stopped

12130H 8.5dB
12245H 8.0dB
12322H 8.2dB
12360H 8.0dB
12437H 7.9dB

I really cant figure out this satellite

Is there any difference in SNR compared to other Widebeam frequencies ?

Oh bloody hell - typo lads - apologies :-rofl2 ! Its 10.1

A 70dB signal would probably melt the receiver :D

Interesting that your results are fairly flat, approx 10 dB across the board, while I get a 5 dB variance between Germany a and wide beam.
As an aside, is it worth getting the Emittor out of the van to see if it can see the Italy beam?
Will have to wait until the end of the rugby though!

Im starting to think the KK stuff above 12130 is on Germany Ge - that beam is far more favourable for me here than Germany A Im just looking at he beams / strengths here to see if I can see any patterns.

Ah but remember these maps are only showing the "bullseye" on the beam down to about 49dBW. (Much like the SES UK beam maps published a couple of years ago). There is plenty of overspill at lower received powers, especially as my favoured Germany Ge is more favourable to you than Germany A as well

My predictions from the beam results: (Im ignoring the 12341V multistream in this)

Greece beam
11843V
12054H
12207H
12284H
12399H
12475H

German beam (possibly Ge rather than A)
12130H
12245H
12322H
12360H
12437H

German beam on Flysat but wide beam according to my signal levels
11785H
11861H
11977H

widebeam
the rest of them

One slight oddity is 12169H (the Italian DTT frequency) its widebeam according to Flysat but on power levels here Id say it was Greece beam

All your Greece beams are about 13.2 - 13.5 dB here, but 12169 is only 12.4 dB, sow there is something different about it!

Ive just had another look across the band and all levels are consistently 0.2dB-0.3dB up on the figures from earlier.

11843V and 12054H are certainly on the widebeam as I can get very strong signal from them. All below 12.100 are widebeam and all over 12.100 mhz are spot beams. I get very strong signals from below 12.100 mhz and nothing above 12.100 mhz. I live in the North-eastern part of Turkey and I cannot get any spot beams.

All TP's still very even here. Bad rainy weather, solo2, hovering around 11,5 db ±0,5
If the GE map is to be believed, any transponders there should show up quite stronger here compared to Wide, Greece, Germany A, no sign of that yet.

Ive found this absolutely fascinating over the last couple of evenings. Watching the data & conclusions come together from various contributors on the thread to get an overall view has been really interesting :)

Is anybody here residing inside the Nordic-Eastern European beam and also owning a TBS tuner that is able to lock the 12341V ?

This should give a first answer if it would be possible using the same frequency on both beams.

Then is there any detailed frequency plan that shows up the frequency band allocation to the available beams to answer questions like the following ones ?
Could a Widebeam frequency change to any of the spotbeams ?
Could frequencies change their spotbeams freely or are there any limits ?

Here is the comparison of footprints, of earlier and now. ( for the wide beam)
It changed only 2 days back.
Left side is old, right side is new footprints. As we can see, the beam is slightly coming near to Delhi, Check how close it is to Nepal, in the right pic.

Gud news for trackers in Delhi. :-woohoo
